14. What's a hobby you would like to get into? Plus, this comes from my part but, may i present you, miniature painting? Those from warhammer can be a good start.

I've been thinking a lot about getting into leatherwork recently! It feels like a bad idea because I have approximately none of the supplies for it and would need to buy everything from scratch, but also I really want to bind a proper leather-bound grimoire-style book at some point, so...

(Unfortunately I am Not Allowed to get into miniature painting for the same reason I am Not Allowed to get into gunpla. I really really don't need a hobby which encourages me to collect tons of little models... this would be the worst thing ever for my packrat collector tendencies.)

For the recent thing you shared about asking x question about your OCs. What about the 13th question for your characters that you most like? It would be interesting if you get to draw that?

13. What is your character like when they're anxious?

I don't have the time/energy right now to draw anything in response to questions, alas. but as for the characters I'm currently fixated on:

Elle's not a particularly anxious person, tbh. however she tends to deal with her issues overall by avoiding them (in the form of throwing herself into stupid catpeople punchfights) so I assume she'd do the same with anxiety.

Ysabeau tries to avoid her anxiety by throwing herself into work, but she does a fundamentally bad job of it. unlike Elle, who actually can successfully distract herself, Ysabeau will just end up fixating on the problem and getting increasingly Weirder about it until something happens to snap her out of the spiral.

tl;dr neither of these kids are any good at dealing with their problems. forcing them at gunpoint to get better at Dealing With Their Problems is a solid 70% of their character development tbh

5) favourite boss character?

hornet! she's my favourite character overall; there's something so uhhh poignant, i guess, about her character and her backstory and the way her whole life has been shaped by decisions other people made about her before she was even born and how all she can do in the face of that is to protect hallownest as best she can. like idk man i have a lot of hornet feels okay!! she is so brave and dutiful and tragic and i love her she is my daughter

in terms of boss characters i like just for being bosses, then my favourite would be the mantis lords! i like them i think they're neat i'd like to know more about them!!

16) how many hours have you played in your longest playthrough?

uhhh i decline to go check the actual number but definitely over fifty! maybe closer to a hundred, even? if i like a game i will spend an absurd amount of time playing that game, and by "playing" i mean "dicking around doing absolutely nothing".

18) tell us a headcanon about [insert character/location name here]

the knight is a weird affectless cryptid and i will die on this hill. i love love love to play around with the concept of personhood & characters with a degree of ambiguity wrt how much "person" can even apply to them, so uhhh i have approximately zero interest in it whenever people treat the knight and their fellow vessels like they're just completely regular people who can't talk. no! that's the most boringest of all possible options!! get Weird with it!!!

who is/are your comfort characters(s)?

i... don't really have any comfort characters! i do have a collection of blorbos i like to rotate in my mind but i don't really do the "this is the blorbo who cheers me up when i am sad" thing. blahaj is my comfort character i guess.

22. what type of person are you?

that's a tricky one ever for sure! uhhh i think, ultimately, i'm the type of person who believes that anything i say about "what type of person i am" is not going to be a reliable statement. on the one hand i have a very biased and inaccurate perspective of myself; i live inside my own head and am thus naturally inclined to sympathise with myself and take my own side in arguments, even when i'm in the wrong. and on the other hand anything i say about myself to other people is going to be, on some level, dictated at least a little bit by how i want to present myself to them rather than the person i actually am at core. so uhhh in conclusion i guess you could say that i'm the type of person who will use cut-price wannabe-pretentious philosophising as an excuse to wriggle out of making any kind of declarative statement about myself.

24. if we were together on a rooftop, what would we be doing?

i don't know! presumably diy or household repairs, given that every time i've been on a rooftop it's been related to some sort of building project. i don't know what other people do on rooftops but that's been 100% of my being-on-rooftops experience.
