To explain the 'ok boomer' thing. It's referring to the babyboomer generation, which are peeps born between '46 and '64. This new phrase is something younger generations came up with as a retort on the whole 'special snowflake' thing, which is typically said by babyboomers, and now some of them are calling this a hate crime.

Oh, I do sorta understand where the phrase came from. But I don’t understand the controversy. ^^; 

Like maybe it’s often used a bit condescendingly, but I don’t really get what the big deal is about it. 

‘Hate crime’ is going a bit far. XD
