I have been wanting to get into sailor moon for some time now but I have no idea where to begin with the series or the watch order

The appropriate order to watch the classic 90′s anime Sailor Moon is this;

Sailor Moon

Sailor Moon R

Sailor Moon S

Sailor Moon SuperS

Sailor Moon Sailor Stars

If you wish to also watch the movies… The movies usually takes place in the middle of a season, and unless you want to pause in the middle of a season to watch a movie just to get it in the right order, it is only appropriate to watch each individual movie right after each season ( Sailor Moon R the movie after Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S the movie after Sailor Moon S, and Sailor Moon SuperS the movie after Sailor Moon S.)

If you aren’t too picky about spoilers, I HIGHLY recommend watching this video on the Sailor Moon timeline. They go deeply into detail on the events of the classic anime as a whole, and explains when certain events actually takes place in the right order. It’s a total blast to watch it, especially if you’re a veteran Sailor Moon fan. But even so, it is STILL VERY interesting to watch! But be aware of spoilers, like I said!

If you wish (for whatever reason) to skip any filler episodes/arcs, I recommend following this guide right here. The guide does not exactly spoil anything major to the plot, but it explains why certain episodes and arcs are fillers and why you don’t really miss anything by skipping them (please note that that link only links to the first season; if you wish to skip filler episodes in later seasons, please navigate your way to the bottom of that page. )

And if you wish to watch the Crystal series, just simply watch them in the appropriate order of “Season 1″, “Season 2″, and “Season 3″.

We can unfortunately not provide you with links to streaming sites where you can watch it other than Crunchyroll, since it would mean that we would be spreading/encouraging piracy and whatnot. But I’m sure you can find a bunch of sites on your own if you just navigate yourself to google and just search for it on your own. Just be aware of suspicious websites, and never pay for something that don’t seem be legit!

What did you think of the Karin and Sarada reunion? Was it handled well?

It was certainly a nice moment, but I think that it should have been a little longer, because that was obviously a momentous occasion when considering the role that Karin played in Gaiden’s drama. Therefore, with all things considered, I don’t think that Karin and Sarada’s meeting was given the time or the significance that it warranted; I feel that it was kinda just brushed over.

I thought there would be 3 separate novels one for Naruto one for Sasuke and one for Shikamaru? But that doesn’t seem to be right do you mind explaining how these novels work exactly and who the stories revolve around and is there 3 books or is it 3 novels in one book?

Yeeeah it was a little misleading the way they first advertised it. 

So there’s three separate novels, each with their own theme. The character in the title really has nothing to do with what the stories will be about.

Naruto Shinden - father and daughter

Sasuke and Sarada

Chouji and Chouchou

Sasuke Shinden - teacher and student

Sasuke and Team uh Konohamaru

I mean it’s very smart on the publisher’s part. It’s a good way to get people to buy ALL of the novels, instead of just the one single novel that has the characters they’re interested in.
