Being Vegan In A Non Vegan World - Part 1
One of the most cliche things is to say that 'nobody understands me' but honestly when you live with and are surrounded by a bunch of non vegans it truly feels like no one understands. No one understands your frustration, no one understands your sadness or that completely overwhelming feeling you get when you think about how many animals are killed and have to suffer to please people who like cheese and meat and wearing animal skins. I know I can't change things in a night or even in a year, so I understand that I shouldn't place the weight of the world on my shoulders when it comes to animal rights. But honestly I feel more devastated when someone can't even empathize with the complete uselessness I feel when I begin to think about the 60 billion land animals and trillion marine animals that are slaughtered every year just for 'food'
