So when I planned my iftar menu for the first two weeks I didn't realize how many of the curry and daal recipes I chose use spinach. Not to mention I throw in raw spinach and avocado for my suhoor smoothies. Probably dawned on me when I had 6lbs of spinach at the Whole Foods check out line This is also the first time I'll be using flax milk for smoothies since making the choice to cut out soy milk from my life for the sake of inflammation and chronic pain.
