I think we can all agree here that Cijara wins the Badass Award for picking this spot for my little pyromaniac flash seagull. We made some adaptions and additions to make it a proper fitting gap filler. Also, I learnt the word "popliteal space" which I think is possibly not the greatest spot for a tattoo, but at least a pretty great word. :D

I think this may be my first compass tattoo? How did I navigate this industry without any compasses for so long?? (Sorry if I tattooed a compass on you and somehow forgot about it.)

Obviously only half done. I can't wait to add the rainbowy swoosh that will connect it to the pre-existing tribal on the upper arm. :) We had a bit of a last-minute surprise scar situation happen, which is why a little part of the compass is intentionally missing for now (it's good practice to only tattoo over scars once they are fully healed and inactive/not red anymore).

Also, Alex got me the greatest gift of hand-knit socks!!! And I think they match the tattoo colors pretty nicely? :D

Yesterday we planted the first bit of greenery for this big longterm project. Well, technically it's already the second part, since the little flask of pink at the bottom is (a wannado) from last year. A celebratory lily for now officially Lily, and a monstera starter culture ready for expansion...

We (extremely spontaneously) also added the OptInk to our plans for today. (My very first OptInk! I think I'll only have to do approximately 200 more until I'm as fast at these as our OptInk-OG Pauline. :D)

Plus, I got a healed shot of the "Nope-Bow" we did in early-ish 2024. 🌈🐝✨ (I feel like I have to stock up again on rainbow wannados??!)

More magical Graz encounters! One flash and one custom each for Röha and Mika (plus a healed shot of Röha's water raccoon from two years ago).

Röha got my happy spring froggo (with a tiny custom adjustment) and a symbol. Mika adopted my Blåhaj flash (with added custom colors for the heart 💛🤍💜🖤) and I had the honor of adding a ghosty watercolor tail to the pre-existing fox/Kitsune. Thank you so so much for everything, you two.🫶💖🌈

Greetings from Graz! I'm guestspotting in my old hometown, and my very first appointment here was one I would never have thought would happen, like, ever. My sister has always been the type who would never get a tattoo. Until she suddenly wasn't. The little tulip in my spring flash sheet apparently spoke to her and told her it really really wanted to live on her skin. And since we're assuming this most probably will remain her one and only tattoo, we made it a soppy sisters thing and I got myself a (lazy version of a) tulip too, with the highlight being that my favorite sister gathered her courage, took my machine and did the little crayon heart for me. 💖🌷

(Yes, my sister is the best. I love her an unbearably kitschy amount, ok??)

I swear it's that cute bear's fault that I forgot to post this Flora(l) addition from over a month ago. I didn't tattoo that beautiful fellow and I meant to ask Flora about the artist so I could tag them. But I forgot. To ask Flora and also to post. Flora, if you see this, feel free to come to the rescue and tag the creator of this adorable creature in the comments. 😬🫶

Anyway. The little healed twig at the bottom is my work and from a couple of years ago. Now the mission was to let it grow all the way up and do a fun circle at the shoulder, lovingly framing the bear in a way that makes it part of the tattoo without covering it too much.

Maybe it was a teeny bit extra optimistic to think we could finish this in one session (sorry Flora). But I think we left off with a pretty moon shape for now. ;)
