AKA CroatoanCon, CoronaCon, or as @rockhoochie and I dubbed it, DubCon2020. Oh the jokes go on and on.
When we first got the news that TPTB over at Creation made the call and added a no touching policy to SPNVegas, I was devastated, to say the least. Because what’s the point of a photo op if you can’t love up on your faves, am I right?
But it was better than I expected, and some of my ops turned out amazing!
So here are all the goodies folks! Please excuse the poor quality of my own photography!
Y’all already know I love me some Rob Benedict, so let’s start there. Pics under the cut.
This was photo op #1 on Thursday. I had planned on this op before Creations new rules, but before the signs would have been covering our faces, and our bodies should have been pressed up tight to each other, because, why the hell not!
Tappin into my own creativity after Rob opened the weekend with a cover of MC Hammer’s “Can’t Touch This.” I asked him, “You feel like begging for a hug?” when I showed him my Can’t Hug This sign. Gladly, his response was “Yes!”
We then channeled some Beatles, only he didn’t sing “I Wanna Hold Your Hand.”
From his Meet & Greet on Sunday, I got the closest yet and man, his smile is so beautiful and those eye crinkles! I also sneaked him a bag of chocolate treats. I told him in autos on Friday I brought him some, and his eyes lit up! So I brought them ot the m&g and handed them to him just before his handler whisked him away to photo ops.
So I get to my last op with him and tell him “Traditionally I let you pick the last op of the weekend, so what should we do?”
His eyes light up, again, cause they do that, and he says “I started eating those chocolate covered preztels and they are so good!” Then puts his hands under his chin and while I look a little weird, it’s so cute.

My dear friend @babypieandwhiskey shared an op with Rob, deciding to fight over him and I think it looks pretty great! I told him just to stand there look handsome and smug. He pretty puch nailed it.
Thursday, @sis-tafics and I went to the PJ Party with Kim and Bri and had a lot of fun. I was chosen to play a game and won! Getting my winning game card auto’d by them both. Kim holds a special place in my heart as she was the first to recognize what was happening when I had my first anxiety attack at MinnCon in 2018, so it was especially hard when it happened again this year and I couldn’t get the hug I so desperately craved from her. But I have a plan to remedy that for the future when I need it. Stay tuned for that.
The incredible DHJ. Wow. He just gets on my level, stares into my soul and asks “What do you want?” I think I short circuited.
Sunday always rolls around so slowly, but passes too quickly. I enjoyed the Gold panel with @sis-tafics and took some amazing photos with @alleiradayne‘s camera, so stay tuned for those pics as well. There isn’t much that compares to hugs from J2, but again, I got creative.
When I walked up to Jensen and told him I was a full foot shorter than him, he chuckled. I said, “let’s stand back to back and just laugh at the difference.” Jensen Ackles delivered.
But then, I get to Jared and show him my sign. He laughed at first, but I explained it. He is such a good sport. If you can’t see the sign it reads “This is what 15 inches looks like” Jard is 6′4″ I am just under 5′1″. He asked how tall I was and I responded and he laughed again. it was pretty great.
From the minute we met at the airport...
To dinner Sunday night...
And the moments between, I had a great time.
I couldn’t have asked for better ConCompanions/Roommates with @sis-tafics and @alleiradayne. I reunited with some friends, and met some new ones. @wi-deangirl77 (why do I only have the one pic of us?! Where is ever’body else?), @babypieandwhiskey @rockhoochie @butiaintgonnaloveem @plaidstiel-wormstache Thank you all so much for being just as amazing and supportive IRL as you are online.
