Kara ran down the street, frantically searching for a safe place to hide. Anything out in the open would be too obvious, but at this time in the night, all stores were closed. Besides, not everywhere would be okay with a stone and metal golem. Her hands were clutched tightly around the Crooked Man’s cane, which was actually her control rod just dressed up.

The rain felt wonderful on her plating, but she had no time to enjoy it. The Tweedles were close behind her. It was starting to look like she would be caught. That was when the light of the Trip Trap Bar caught her eye. She’d heard that name before! It was fable-friendly, and looked like it was still open.

The golem didnt hesitate to run inside, hiding behind the corner just inside. After a few moments, she turned to the bar to see if someone was there. Hopefully they wouldnt mind her appearance, or her intrusion.
