Veilgender
Decided to move this to its own post.
A veil themed gender called "veilgender," using vei/veil (variations ex: vae/vael, vai/vail).
Based upon the symbolism of veils, but also just the clothing because veils are neat.
Just... the idea of mystery, of illusion, of disguising and concealing. But also wedding veils, with their symbolism of love and happiness, as well as funeral veils, signifying grief.
Perhaps wedding veilgender and funeral veilgender are too different subsections of veilgender?
I feel like the colors of the main flag would be white, yellow, black, and dark gray. Black and white would mean the obscurity of blinding light and all-consuming darkness. Yellow would probably mean the same that it does on the nonbinary flag, which represents those that exist outside of the gender binary. For dark gray... just a sec.
A funeral variation would be black, yellow, and a dark gray. The dark gray would symbolize the coming acceptance of what you have lost.
A wedding variation would be white, yellow, and dark gray. The dark gray in this case symbolizing the darkness you will face together.
Now, the dark gray on the main flag would mean both. So, if you resonate with both and not just one, it will still be in the flag. :3
Considering this, veilgender encompasses the cycle of love... neat.
