Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.

It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.

Non-binary people can't use they/them because they're only one person. Non-binary people can't use it/its because it's dehumanizing. Non-binary people can't use neopronouns because they're too confusing. Non-binary people can't use he/him and/or she/her because that's not gender neutral. Non-binary people can't use no pronouns because that's too hard to use.

No matter what pronouns a non-binary person uses somebody will get mad at them.

it was from the user bi-kisses, and while I agree with the "gender is whatever you want it to be" ideology, the person was strongly vying that enbies don't exist. And I just... how do you tell me you read only queerphobic things without telling me you read only queerphobic things? They're saying that it's highly unlikely enby gender dysphoria exists, or anything like that and I just... okay, fox news. They're saying there are no studies. Yeah, just ignore the hundreds of thousands of people going through gender dysphoria (same reason why I think people not believing in phantom sense is stupid). Of course, nothing you say can hurt us because we know your wrong based on our own experiences. Also, as someone in the comments brought up, you don't have to have dysphoria to be transgender... so the whole argument immediately fails anyways.

And the other stupid thing about using the "gender is whatever you want it to be" in the essay is that they're SO CLOSE! They're ALMOST seeing what's right. I mean, they're seeing that part of it! They even explain that it's sexist to see certain clothes and personality traits as female or male, but apparently saying that everyone's brains have to be categorized in female or male isn't?

Yeah, maybe BIOLOGICALLY our SEX may be two things. Which is wrong, there's intersex. Which is a thing even if we don't have the chromosomes to show it. But besides anyone's thoughts on that, gender is an ENTIRELY different concept from sex. Gender is our state of mind, not our body. To say otherwise would not just be against enbies, but transgenders as a whole. Because gender is not decided by our body. Gender is not decided by what clothes we wear, or our voice, or anything like that. Gender is decided by what we want it to be.

Enbies exist. To think you can silence us with any logical thinking is idiotic. Die in a ditch, bitches and bi-kisses.

Someone really oughta to tell the cisgender gays that announcing to the world that they have supposedly have nothing in common with transgender people only makes them look hilariously insecure and ignorant. Because they have a lot in common with us -- like the fact that the Nazis and the church hunted both of us because we refused to be pressed into their neat little boxes. But queer transphobes are too selfish to see past their own trauma and insecurities. They are the embodiment of hurt people hurt people, and for that I feel sorry for them. Even as they betray their own communities.

Nonbinary people will never act or look the way you expect because we don’t fit the gendered molds. Nonbinary people are bullied by most people, what the fuck are you fucking talking about saying we aren’t discriminated against?! We are constantly misgendered, constantly ignored, constantly excluded, we are labeled as creepy, ugly, weird, crazy, sensitive, etc.. We have to mask, shut, pretend and ignore when we’re hurt because no one believes us. Especially AMAB enbies! When AMAB enbies express themselves the way that is true to them, especially if they’re some type of femme, they are treated like trans women. Many nonbinary people are seen as trans binary people because barely anyone takes the fucking time to be respectful of nonbinary people’s pronouns or genders.

As for whether nonbinary people are trans. Yes. Some people who are nonbinary do not want to transition at all, they’re still trans. Some people feel very close to the gender they were assigned at birth, they’re still trans. Some people are cis and just like to use different pronouns, that’s fine, they’re not really nonbinary. Some nonbinary people don’t want to be considered trans, that’s fine too though it makes no sense. Nonbinary people experience all the shit that trans people do because we are trans, because we don’t fit in, and it hurts just as fucking much it just looks different on us. Nonbinary people have been assaulted, harassed, and killed and we have gone through the same mind fucks. You just don’t see us because we’re seen as men or women or girls or boys being a little weird. I want you to know that too, is a micro aggression.

the thing about the term "theyfab" is not that it's the most offensive slur I've ever heard or been called. It's not particularly creative or interesting or vicious. The main thing about "theyfab" is that it's cringe. every time I hear it I think wow, it's so fucking cringe that you just used that unironically. are you serious? are you okay? because that was the most cringe thing I've ever seen.
