He was drifting in and out of consciousness... some parts of it felt fuzzy while other parts of his vision felt clear. It really was strange... he didn't remember taking a nap. Actually... he didn't really remember much at all. How did he get here...? Where was he from...? It felt like those memories were just at his finger tips, and even if he reached out to try and grasp them it wouldn't help him much.
Blue eyes fluttered gently, and he realized he'd been laying down too. The sand was warm and the sun blazing on his face. Did he fall asleep by the shore? He didn't remember this place, butt he waves... had a familiar sound. One that he was familiar with. The brunet shifted up before rubbing his eye with a gloved hand, glancing down the shore. It seemed peaceful and serene... like nothing could go wrong. As his eyes trailed down, a girl's figure outlined the coast. For a second, he thought he knew her. Something in his chest leapt out, like meeting a familiar friend from a long time.
Without thinking, he bolted from the ground. The sand scuffled around his feet as he made his way towards her, nearly tumbling face first with a grin. He knew her! He had to! The way his heart lurched out and tugged him towards her. He managed to collect himself, slowing his pace before panting with his hands on his knees.
"You're Ka--" The words caught in his throat. Wait a second... she wasn't... her hair color was different, and the way she looked too. The coat itself matched her hair color too... but wouldn't she be hot on this beach with that on?
"Oh... uh, sorry." He bent his head down with a sheepish smile, hand pressing his brown hair, "You're not who I thought y'were."
