My little pieces of inspiration have arrived! (Well, last week, to be precise).

I'm so unbelievably happy :> My own little Veigar and Lulu, finally on my desk. I'm hoping they'll whisper dark, whimsical secrets to me and inspire new stories, lol.

Although, judging by his expression, I'm not sure Veigar is whispering. I think he's one incantation away from turning my keyboard into a portal to the Shadow Isles. A valid reaction to my writing, some might say.

And Lulu... well, let's just say there was a tiny, immediate heist. My little daughter claimed her almost instantly. I might need to have a serious talk about how these are for "admiring," not for games...

It's a physical reminder of a big project I finished, my long VeiLu fic. Do I get pangs of embarrassment over it now? Maybe. Yeah. The writer's curse. But I'm physically restraining myself from deleting it. I poured too much heart (and sweat over the English translation) into it. It's a part of my journey :)
