Full name: Letalnica bratov Gorišek Location: Planica, Slovenia Hill Size: HS 240 K-point: K-200 Letalnica (previously known as Velikanka bratov Gorišek) was planned, constructed and developed by Slovenian constructors, engineers and brothers, Vlado and Janez Gorišek. On 17 March 1994 finnish ski jumper Toni Nieminen landed on his feet at 203m and officially became the first man in history who jumped over 200 metres.

Rozle Zagar was the first man who jumped on the new flying hill in Planica! He landed safely on 169. m!  The first who jumped over 200 m was Andraz Pograjc - 213! Till not the longest jump was made by Ernest Prislic - 227!!

Rozle Zagar or Jaka Rus. Who do you think will jump as first on the new flying hill in Planica? The decision will be made directly before official hill test (Wednesday, 10:15 am). Mr Gros said that the one who has “no fear in eyes” will do it. This waiting is exciting!  I think that not many of you have heard about that two guys but if you’ve ever took part at World Cup competition in Germany, Austria, Swiss, Slovenia... you had to see them. They are “proffesional trial jumpers”.

I seriously can’t wait to hear this melody again! It always makes me very happy. But from another side I’ve tears in my eyes coz I know that season is over and we’ve to wait a few months till SGP.
