How about Velvet and Ruby snuggling?
Ruby smiled as she rested her head on Velvet’s chest, watching her chest rise with each breath and listening to her heart beat. It was a lazy afternoon for the two of them. Neither had really wanted to get out of bed on this cold, winter day, and the blankets had beckoned both of them to stay in.
Velvet smiled a bit as she rubbed Ruby’s back, enjoying how close the two of them were. “I take it all back. This… was a good idea.”
“Told you it would be.”
“I’ll refrain from doubting you.”
Ruby nodded and looked up at Velvet for a moment. “Are you sure you’re comfortable like this?”
Velvet nodded, adjusting herself slightly to give Ruby a little bit of a better spot to lay down. “Of course. Besides, at this point I’m not sure I could get up even if I wanted to. Too lazy.”
Ruby slowly got up, letting the breeze in the house run across her skin. “Well, I’m going to get some hot chocolate. You want any?”
“Please. And make sure to come back quickly, its a bit chilly without you.”
Ruby blushed a bit as she walked off. “Dont worry, I wont be that long.”
