why did she keep rechecking. the little screen in her hands was just as cold and unanswering as he... helping nothing at all. the only updates on her last exchange with her harrowing, scorpion lover were the span of time displayed beside the words ‘ seen at’. so each glance only shoved her further toward self-loathing detonation.
