         A familiar pink haired male called out the other’s name as he runs to catch up to him but a more devious smirk escaped him as he approaches. A fist slamming into the other’s hand as a greeting. There wasn’t a moment where Natsu didn’t greet his friends with his fists, a way of showing affection in the weirdest way. 

    ❝ Since the orcarina sesis right? ❞

      Natsu completely says the name wrong on purpose, the stupid grin still across his face.

    ❝ I heard you were looking for your friend ... The snake, right? Got any clues so far? ❞

Out of all the drinkers that were in fairy tail or that were composed of most mages, Lucy didn’t fall under the extreme. She knew if she got too far then it meant her unabashedly flirting with people who might not want to be flirted with. That was something she had learned the time she got extremely drunk with a few guild members. When she did want to drink, she made sure she didn’t get that far gone. Part of that played a part into the fact that people tried to take advantage of it. There was one night in particular where a guy had tried to use her drunkenness' in favor for him. Erza knocked the lights out of him and carried her home to sit with her that entire night. Lucy had heard about it from third parties the next day.

Today had been a celebration that led to a few members bar hopping. At this point in time, quite a few had drifted off. The only reason that Lucy was still part of it because one of the other members told her she’d never last the entire night. She was decently sure the night was ending here because the members that were left seemed to be too deep into their drinks or have even passed out. Bickslow, who had been the one to challenge her surprisingly, was rested over the table asleep as Laxus sat there with a bored expression on his face while Freed nursed a drink. Evergreen was nowhere to be found but that wasn’t too much of a surprise.

The blonde had kept her brown orbs trained on Erik for most of the time. She knew him, obviously. They had run ins and issues as well as she heard plenty of negative talk on the poison dragon slayer. There had been a few thoughts that wandered in and out of her head. Some of it linked to the jewel he took from bets on how much he can drink but some from the rumors that met her ears. Everybody talks, it was how the world worked. A lot of it was worth ignoring it but some of it wasn’t. Standing up she walked over to him as she tucked what was left of her bottle safely under her arm. She hadn’t wanted it to be the main view.

In the same instance, how could a bottle take away from her beauty? There she stood in a wrap of a dress that was in blue and golden hues. A pink bow rested in her hair tying it up and to a side pony tail while her golden locks fell along her shoulder. She was a heavy believer in dressing up because life wasn’t guaranteed to spend it not looking as good as you could. Finally his eyes seemed to adjust to her with what seemed like maybe a twinge of annoyance. In her state though, she couldn’t fully tell. A moment passed as she thought of what she wanted to say.

“You can escape your past. Attitude helps with that a lot.. I’ve escaped mine! You don’t need to be the best drinker ta’ be liked. People are alwaysss going to talk.. it’s like.. their job.”

One thing Lucy was good at was taking up space even if someone might not exactly wanted her to. Her speech was only slightly slurred and she sat down on the stool next to him. If anything it was for her own comfort as she leaned against the bar. Resting her head on her hand as she looked at him for a bit. 

“You can be liked for being you.”

“Now, now boys, settle down. I would gladly wield a switch blade. In fact...” she laughed, reaching into her boot and pulled one out and engaging the release. “I carry one on me at all times. Just in case...”
