I believe Rocket isnt really into gift giving/might not be 100% confident about it? So what about Eddie? How good is he with gifts for Star?
Rocket doesnt give gifts very often, but he’ll have his moments of trying. He’s pretty awkward about it tho
Eddie is 100% down to spoil Star if he could. It’s not that he doesn’t want to, he does, but with like no money and knowing she wouldn’t accept anything stolen, his options are limited. V much a ‘she’s a princess and deserves to be treated like one’ mentality.
As opposed to BlackVenom, where Eddie is all too happy to give Blackfire stolen jewelry and clothes.
We need some Venomstar jealousy headcanons.
OH DANG OKAY. It’s 2 am so sorry if anything seems weird
First of all: They’re both jellybeans. Star is v much the jealous type, though she’s arguably not as jealous as Eddie.
Eddie doesn’t have a whole lot of people hanging around him v often, but when he’s not Venom I’d imagine he’d catch the eye of a few people. That said, he’s a pretty loyal dude, so Star doesn’t have much to worry about. She’d just be frustrated with anyone not getting the hint or continuing to pursue him even after he made it clear he wasn’t interested.
Star, however, is a pretty popular girl, and she’s friends with Peter, so Eddie’s jealousy tends to be more common. Star and Petey are just friends, but Eddie hates his guts so he gets sulky whenever they hang out– But he’s not going to stop Star from being friends with who she wants, either, especially since she was friends with Peter first.
Both are p petty in their jealousy. Star can be catty and a little mean, and Eddie can be a jerk and rub their relationship in someone (read: Peter’s) face. Eddie can be a kind of possessive at times too, again when it comes to Peter and Star being friends. (You see a pattern here??)
They do try to talk about it tho, since they know not talking about it isn’t any help.
