Horrible evil comic that pained my hands </3

I missed 'draw your faves with your disability' month by a while, but I hope you'll still accept this snippet. Some context and thoughts below the cut if you're curious!

I will project my disabilities onto anyone, but Soldier is the first character I've so heavily headcannoned as d/Deaf. The way he speaks so loud at all times, and he misunderstands the things people say to him as though hearing them wrong, and the way he's viewed as stupid for doing so, it reminds me of being in school as a HoH person. It's hard to explain to someone who hasn't experienced it. Think the 'so it ain't me noggin it's me peepers' Simpsons clip. He was also in near a war, and many soldiers lost hearing from bombs and the constant gunfire.

Pyro's mask would make it very hard to sign considering the lack of expressions to read equates to a huge loss of grammar and sentence structure. Engie designed an LED screen that replaced the material in the eyeholes, and they have a few default expressions to use for emoting, including ? for a question , ^^ for happiness and positive emotion, ◡◡ for sadness or negative emotion, etc. It responds to the actual expression Pyro is making inside the mask!

I believe Rocket isnt really into gift giving/might not be 100% confident about it? So what about Eddie? How good is he with gifts for Star?

Rocket doesnt give gifts very often, but he’ll have his moments of trying. He’s pretty awkward about it tho

Eddie is 100% down to spoil Star if he could. It’s not that he doesn’t want to, he does, but with like no money and knowing she wouldn’t accept anything stolen, his options are limited. V much a ‘she’s a princess and deserves to be treated like one’ mentality.

As opposed to BlackVenom, where Eddie is all too happy to give Blackfire stolen jewelry and clothes.
