I know, right? I didn’t say anything but commented with my “friends”/colleagues/people-I-hang-out-with-by-convenience and they acted like it was super normal. They gave me that look that said “well, I mean, she has a point...” I mean, I’m fat and I’m aware of it, but that doesn’t mean it’s okay to throw that in my face, especially if I don’t know you.

I’m really not bothered when people call me fat. I’m bothered when people accepting fat-shaming, just because people are fat and “it’s true anyway”.

In what ways am I fortunate?  6 of Swords

You can see things from a higher perspective than most people.  You know that what you've left behind may have turned out badly, but you have the ability to see the safety on the other side.  

You also have a very good support system.  You are held aloft by this system likely moreso than even you know.

How can I show my gratitude?  7 of Wands reversed

You can show gratitude by finding your own way.  In showing that you know how to get through your own challenges, you show everyone around you just what a good job they did in supporting you and teaching you to stand on your own two feet.  

What is blocking positive energies?  6 of Pentacles reversed

You have a lot, and you're very fortunate.  However, you sometimes find it hard to share your fortune with others.  You stand with very firm feet upon the ground (the card even possesses three of them), and you really can afford to give more of the bounty with which you've been graced.

How can I attract positivity? The Page of Pentacles reversed

Learn to stick to one method of doing things.  The more streamlined your practises (be they spiritual, monetary, scholastic, or what have you), the more success you will have in reaching your goals.  Trying on too many different pieces of things will only distract you and keep you from feeling truly fulfilled.

Spread a Day 2: #26

Boyfriend is in loooove with ducks, and he found out I was going to end up self reading this spread, he jumped in and said "NO! I love ducks do that one for me."  He has no tumblr, so this is just a write-up of the pull.

It's not photographed, but it was read in the Revelations Tarot deck as per his request.

EDIT:  I'd also like to note, my bf NEVER has asked me to read for him before so this was a real treat, so apparently if I duck theme it,  He'll allow it LOL  Now I need a duck themed tarot deck...

1) Judgement - in his time of job change, he's got a few choices each with it's own perk, and all will put him in a better position, While his current job situation meets his basic needs, so if he doesn't even like his current choices he can still back out and wait for a new option to crop up.  He has options and all of them are valid ones.

2) 4 of Wands Reversed - to be patient and wait for the dust to settle, things are going to wind down, but time is needed and the energies at flow here are out of his control.  He needs to just have patience with this situation and the individuals involved.  He is charmed in that his biggest issue is just a matter of nervous waiting around.

3) Death - The negativity and chaos that surrounds the climax of all big life changes, he needs to remember this is just a phase and the craziness, the stress, the deadlines, scheduling issues, dealing with moving, etc.  all of that goes away when this current phase is over.  Then he can get back to a normal healthy comfortable flow to life, and enjoy stress-less free time again.  So in essence, the worrying, stress, and high demand for attention that life shifts tend to cause a person.

4) 6 of Pentacles - Remember those that helped you to get to the position you're in by returning the favor in some way, but also be mindful to pay it generosity forward and the goodness is going to come back around full circle.

Gotta give a shout out

to ventivodka, who gave me a reading last night!  Thank you so much for your time!  I was excited to get a reading from you and check out your style!

I gotta say, I'm slightly disappointed that everyone I know who's dealt with the Tarot Art Nouveau has said they don't connect with it or find it intuitively inspiring.  I asked for a reading specifically with that deck because I'm thinking of buying it.. but maybe I'll cross a few others off my list first.

Despite that, the reading I got was great!  It was clear and understandable, connected well, and definitely delivered a message that I needed to hear. 

I was told to give an "honest and harsh critique" but uh..  yeah I didn't find anything negative or that I thought needed improvement to comment on lol.  I liked the connections that were made between the cards, I thought they were really insightful and well thought out.  The accuracy was on point for sure.  And it was delivered with a photo, which I always appreciate when I get readings.

So yes!  I'd definitely recommend ventivodka for your divinatory needs!  Give a follow maybe and watch out for reading offers!
