Heey!
Synastry is the study of two charts together, so what happens in your natal chart has nothing to do with synastry in that sense. Synastry aspects and their meanings are different from natal aspects.
Venus quincunx North Node is synastry might mean that, but in your natal chart it would have a completely different meaning. The reason why you won’t find a lot about it is because quincunx is a more “obscure” aspect, not a lot of astrologers deal with these kinds of aspects and prefer to focus on the more popular aspects, per se.
I’ll explain a little bit about what a quincunx means, it’s also called an “inconjunct” and it’s when two signs are 150 degrees from each other, the best way to remember this is an inconjunct is when two signs have absolutely nothing in common, so they don’t share the same element or modality (nor are they an opposite element or modality), they usually tend to be next to each other ironically. So for example, Scorpio and Sagittarius are inconjunct.
The thing about a quincunx/inconjunct aspect is that the two signs in question do not understand each other, it’s difficult for them to find a common ground, they require an adjustment to be able to see eye to eye. Now if you adapt this to planets, the quincunx can make it difficult to merge the energies of the planets involved. But the difference here is that there is a sense that the two cannot be merged, the areas of life described by the planets tend to conflict with each other but not in the way that is seen with a square or opposition, but the individual separates them either consciously or unconsciously. Basically, in your birth chart, a quincunx shows where parts of your life and nature simply don’t add up.
So, when you have Venus quincunx the North Node in your chart it will automatically be also semi-sextiling (another “obscure” aspect not many people talk about”) the South Node. This can cause a bit of disruption and confusion, especially because of the often ignored semi-sextile, which brings about a gift or a problem that needs to be addressed, this aspect manifests something into your life that forces you to take actions in something that you might have been avoiding.
When you apply the quincunx energy with Venus and the North Node, it often means that Venus, aka our desires and pleasures that we wish to receive (also romantic feelings, relationships, etc), feel like they have to be sacrificed in order for you to do what you need to do in life. It feels a bit like you have to choose, either you can have "Venus” (and everything that it represents in your life) or you can chase your life’s path, the North Node. As for the South Node, this brings about some sort of situation, be it a problem or a happy surprise, that forces us to try and see things in a different perspective.

I hope that helped!

P.s. Yes it's ok to ask me synastry or natal chart questions, it's not my main focus but I can answer them!
