Critical Review of the Tibetan Book of the Dead
Thine own intellect, which is now voidless, yet not to be regarded as of the voidness of nothingness, but as being the intellect itself, unobstructed, shining, thrilling, and blissful, is the very consciousness, the All-good Buddha.
Thine own consciousness, not formed into anything, in reality void, and the intellect, shining and blissful - these two - are inseparable. The union of them is the Dharma-Kaya state of Perfect Enlightenment.
Thine own consciousness, shining, void, and inseparable from the Great Body of Radiance, hath no birth, nor death, and is the Immutable Light - Buddha Amitabha.
Knowing this is sufficient. Recognizing the voidness of thine own intellect to be Buddhahood, and looking upon it as being thine own consciousness, is to keep thyself in the stare of the divine mind of the Buddha.
Overall, that’s a good and motivating quote.
Imagery such as “shining, thrilling and blissful”, and using flashy terms, names and titles can be harmful though, as I talk about below.
If the deceased recognizes the clear light at the moment of death, he becomes enlightened and is thus liberated from the cycle of death-and-rebirth.
Like many occult tricks in this matrix realm we’re in, this is deception. “Going into the light” in countless NDE experiences leads to, “terminally ill” people going through a controlled and guilt-inducing life review by parasitical entities, returning to their unhealthy physical bodies to continue suffering. It is deliberate mind-controlling imagery to keep people from learning the true nature of reality, and empowering themselves.
True empowerment and freedom is in dark matter; an energetic state of being one can entrain oneself to understand on a complex level within the alchemy of the soul. This can be likened to a “blank” or less dense state of energy than we experience in these limited carbon / liquid bodies. One can actually transcend from mind-based limitations to some extent, in such a state of feeling and thought. It’s a good type of imagery for secular-based meditation. Light / blindingly bright types of imagery are pushed so much in the new age due to misinformation and disinformation. People want quick fixes and don’t take time to study esoterically from both within and without. If you’re blinded by the light, then how discerning will you be? Will you be able to control your emotions and centre yourself?
Driven unremittingly by the winds of karma, the deceased is compelled to wander the world, looking for somewhere to rest but finding nowhere.
I’ve written and re-posted about karma and related subjects at this tag, and specifically here. To summarize, karma is a form of control which is used in this matrix to mind-wipe, shame, and blame people, and to use each other as reincarnated batteries. People feeding back and forth off of each other in toxic ways, is without the harmony of giving for the joy of giving, and is what keeps people trapped in the wheel of samsara. It’s illogical for religious propaganda to claim that people are expected to get off of a repetitive cycle by making them forget all of their previous lives, in each lifetime. Karma is a scam.
Since thou hast not a material body of flesh and blood, whatever may come - sounds, lights, or rays - are, all three, unable to harm thee: thou art incapable of dying. It is quite sufficient for thee to know that these apparitions are thine own thought-forms. Recognize this to be the Bardo.
This reveals some truth, and yet the author could not be bothered to avoid causing the reader or hearer further undue stress. Only archon-type-aligned beings would fully put the blame onto humans, when humans are either coerced into “consenting”, or overtly forced into reincarnating. Hopefully some have and will take that passage to be motivating, as it ultimately becomes true that only the individual can fully help oneself. We collectively (and as most are in unawareness of it, chaotically) create reality; a fact shown multiple times in physics by the observer effect.
…will shoot forth and strike against thee with a light so radiant that thou wilt scarcely be able to look at it.
Along with it, there will also shine a dull white light from the devas, which will strike against thee in thy front…
At this stage, thou must not be awed by the divine blue light which will appear shining, dazzling and glorious; and be not startled by it… Put they faith in it, believe in it firmly, and pray unto it, thinking in they mind that it is the light.
They scare those traumatized by immanent death, so they are then able to be fooled into providing loosh for, and in a weakened state, bullied by sadistic spirits. Dazzling distractions have been reported in NDEs. May all illusions be revealed and may all be empowered to free themselves. May all crimes against what is right be stopped.
Be not fond of the dull white light of the devas. Be not attached to it; be not weak.
If thou be attached to it, thou wilt wander into the abode of the devas and be drawn into the whirl of the six lokas. That is an interruption to obstruct thee on the Path of Liberation. Look not at it. Look at the bright blue light in deep faith.
Lack of attachment is very important. There are beings who will guilt-trap humans into reincarnating, “for their lover”, and for other loved ones. It is entirely possible to have love and loyalty for ones friends and family, yet not be attached to them for lifetime after lifetime, if one puts in the work to achieve it.
Yet there is more obfuscation in that quote with the light imagery again, which is something that confuses those in the beginning stages of exploration on their individual spiritual paths. Dark imagery doesn’t equate to evil imagery. There are different shades of what is dark and this is important for people to consider on an intellectual level, without allowing their emotions to control them.
The text continues with ‘may I’ statements and silly, 'impressive’ sounding names, to further dazzle and attach people to energy vampire types of spirits; “the dharma-dhatu wisdom… the divine mother of infinite space… the all-perfect buddhahood…” It instructs people to pray, so they can be 'safely-led’, and, you guessed it, incorporates more light imagery; this time of the radiation variety.
Through power of anger or obscuring karma one should be startled at the glorious light and flee, or be overcome by illusions.
Just more karmic power games; triggering peoples justified anger so that they fall for religious scams after the already traumatic experience of death. At least they admit that they’re causing illusions, though overall it’s victim-blaming.
…will shine as a bright, radiant white light, from the heart of Vajra-Sattva, the father-mother, with such dazzling brilliancy and transparency that thou wilt scarcely be able to look at it, and will strike against thee. And a dull, smoke-coloured light from Hell will shine alongside the light of the mirror-like wisdom and will also strike against thee.
Thereupon, through the power of anger, thou wilt beget fear and be startled at the dazzling white light and wilt wish to flee from it; thou wilt beget a feeling of fondness for the dull smoke-coloured light from Hell. Act then so that thou wilt not fear that bright, dazzling, transparent white light. Know it to be wisdom. Put they humble and earnest faith in it.
The heart-centre is overused imagery in the new age and is misinformation / disinformation which gets and keeps people in a state of emotional weakness and susceptibility to suggestion.
This shows how there are multiple different 'soul-groups’ (as termed in the new age); groups of spirits who fight each other for 'rights’ to loosh-farm humans. These beings have no morals, are shapeshifters, and will pretend to be 'light-beings; harmonic and safe beings’, while claiming the other side are the only evil ones. It says, 'act then, so that…’, because they don’t want people to pay close enough attention to sense their true natures.
It’s beings from these types of groups who mediums are channelling. It seems that most of them are oblivious to why their lives are so difficult, though they certainly have some type of energy stuck with them. When properly full-body-centered energy healers work with mediums, they are sometimes able to help them heal and end their medium-ships.
Using words like 'humble’ and terms like 'earnest faith’ is mind programming to make slaves obey. 'Pray’ is also a common word in the text, but isn’t it interesting that in English, it sounds exactly like, 'prey’? Plus, who are these beings to think they know what wisdom is? Each of us can find wisdom from within and without, once we declare individual sovereignty and refuse to allow religious control to continue.
It continues on into threatening to make people fall into hell-worlds of unbearable misery (gotta 'love’ the irony of doing that to a prison planet which has such 'karmically sound’ things as child trafficking and mass poverty).
It continues on with bragging about riches and status; “endowed with glory… bearing a jewel… seated upon a horse-throne”. How enlightening.
If thou dost not recognize the radiance of thine own intellect, think, with faith, 'it is the radiance of the grace of the bhagavian ratna-sambhava; I will take refuge in it’; and pray. It is the hook of the grace-rays…
More presumptuous 'instructions’ for praying, so one can be preyed upon. They even use the word 'hook’, and I wonder just how that was translated and. if it really is as obvious as it seems.
It then goes on giving a bit of good advice; to abandon egotism and not be attracted to the dull light of the human world, with its violence and sickness. This advice contradicts the quotes above. This is a method to confuse and weaken people (which is ironic, considering this paragraph ends with the words 'be not weak’.)
…strike against they heart so radiantly that thou wilt scarcely be able to look upon it. Fear it not.
Here they admit that they’re doing something scary, then they gaslight their victims by claiming there is nothing to fear. People don’t seem to get fear. Fear is not to be avoided. It’s to be accepted, not denied. Then, one can work with fear for motivation. But, weakening people with contradictory and confusing word trickery is not a way for people to not feel fear.
Keeping thine intellect in a state of resignation, thou wilt merge inseparably and attain buddhahood.
These beings want people to feel resigned to perpetual victimhood, never learning and maintaining their own inner spiritual alchemy, because doing that means they can be avoided, and one can be protected.
Trust in it humbly; flee not. Even if thou fleest, it will follow thee inseparably. Fear it not.
That’s some real stalker behaviour.
It talks about a deity called bhagavan amogha-siddhi, which translated to almighty conqueror; warlike language sure is spiritually harmonious and karmically sound. This being even carried a weapon. What a peaceful religion. This one echoes the stalker nonsense of the previous.
Flowery speech is then used to brag about supposed sacred titles. virtues and, of course, shining.
These fourty-two perfectly endowed deities, issues from within thy heart, being the product of thine own pure love, will come to shine. Know them.
The false 'unity consciousness’ which the new age so loves, is pushed. As if those of us who are reasonable and logical will just allow entities to infest our bodies. Note they go for where people tend to be most vulnerable; the heart.
…the male bodhisattvas partaking of the nature of the divine fathers, and the female bodhisattvas parking of the nature of the divine mothers.
A common division tactic of religions, including the new age with their nonsense about so-called 'twin flames’ (see my last reblog here). This is a tactic to limit the freedoms and expressions of both sexes. I wrote more about the sexes here.
…abide in the mood of non-thought-formation… obtain buddhahood by the hollow pathway…
Thought-formation would allow people to see through their abuses.
It’s also interesting to note that meditations where one is told to 'empty your mind’, don’t work. That’s cause on a certain level, people know that logically this is not actually possible without all brain activity stopping, and death being caused.
The worst of the worst, of heavy evil karma, having not the least predilection for any religion - and some who have failed in their vows - through the power of karmic illusions, not recognizing, although set face-to-face with truth, will stray downwards.
Vows obtained through coercive fear are invalid. That is nothing but the threats of psychopaths. How does it make sense to anyone to worship any beings who mind-wipe us so we’re at a disadvantage, then force us into a matrix system where most are tortured in various (often subtle) ways so that they never recover their memories and power? It’s pure psychopathy on a massive scale and it’s sad that so many have fallen for the elaborate scam.
There’s more evil, as 'deities’ hold crescent knives and skulls filled with blood, dancing and making the mudra of fascination. Then dakinis play music which makes the world-systems 'tremble with sounds so mighty as to daze ones brain’, while wearing the bones and hides of humans. Because this is peaceful spirituality, and not demonic fuckery.
I’m not going to review the whole text, as it’s repetitive.
Closer to the end we see more egotism from these beings, as they brag by using the word 'profound’ multiple times, along with 'great doctrine’. They claim that 'one could not find any doctrine transcending this’. I (don’t beg to) differ.
