still on hiatus (from writing fics at least) but I came up with some hunger scenarios and I have to share them before I forget them.
1. Hungry character is far from home, lost, alone, and very hungry. The only company they have is their rumbling tummy. Maybe they're trying to travel home, maybe they're setting up camp at the moment. But either way, their warm house (and warm delicious meals) are far, far away.
2. Hungry character gets interrupted in the middle of breakfast, and gets dragged along on an adventure/errand by their eager/excited friend who is not a fan of taking a break to get a snack. (Bonus points if the friend starts getting hungry as well.)
3. Food is scarce, and Hungry character sacrifices their own dinner to someone else on their team who needs it more than they do. (Ex. A starving kid/friend/family member.) They then watch from the sidelines as the teammate eats, stomach rumbling with envy at the food they could've eaten. Do they smile through the pain because they helped someone else in need, or do they regret the idea and wish they just kept the meal to themselves?
4. Hungry character is sick and bed-bound. They just vomited whatever was left in their stomach, and they don't feel like eating anything right now. Caretaker characters is right by their side, taking care of them and their growling belly. The caretaker carefully feeds them a few spoonfuls of food, just to have something in their belly.
5. Immortal Hungry character that, technically, doesn't need to eat, but their stomach still cries out anyways. They get to a point where it finally shuts up, and it's just a dull ache in their middle... until they walk past a food shop and catch a scent of their favorite food, and their tummy goes wild. Or maybe they catch themselves thinking back on their favorite meals, and now their belly will never shut up.
I may write more later... heh
