HOLD ON BECAUSE I’VE BEEN RE-READING GEORGE DEVAILERS FICS FOR SO LONG AND I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING

So in Besame Mucho Antonio tells Lovino that he’d never break his heart (or the cage around it) to get what’s inside, but then he fucking gives Lovino a tomato where the only way to get to the ring inside is by breaking it?? Is there something I missed?? because this makes no sense at all because Antonio says one thing one chapter and gives Lovino an object showing the complete opposite?

George deValier was the reason I got into tumblr and the veraverse stories will always be my favourite fanfics. I found the best fandom on tumblr and met an amazing person because of them. Friend: ......so I went into the hetalia tag and people were talking about these fics from 'vera-verse' and 'gutters' so I guess they're really good right?

Oxenstierna paused, took a deep breath, then met Zwingli's eyes with a look that sent a shudder down Gilbert's spine. "'t's killed a lot'f Russians. Sir." Zwingli narrowed his eyes, then gave a brief, upward nod. "Good reason. Mosin-Nagant M28-30, isn't it?" Oxenstierna nodded, and Zwingli's gaze fell on the photograph. "I believe those are quite popular among Finnish snipers. But snipers don't let go of their rifles easily." Oxenstierna nodded again, slower this time.
