So I had an idea for an AU where villains rooftop trio kidnap 17-year-old Hitoshi after his soul mark appears in order to protect him from being targeted by the HPSC (either from them using him as bait or torturing him to try to get info he doesn't have). Originally I intended for it to be at least a little yandere but after the first chapter where I started figuring out the canon divergence behind how the others got to be villains their attitude towards Hitoshi got more overprotective than yandere so I put it on the back burner for a while, but recently I started poking at it again. I've been trying to see if I could pull it in the yandere direction or if I should just publish the bit I have written as a oneshot for, like, Evil Author Day or smth. That's in February, though, so I've got plenty of time to decide lol
Ahhhhh, thank you!!!! Parallelism has been my baby for a while and I've had a lot of fun both coming up with characters and fleshing out various worldbuilding aspects of MHA either as they come up in the story or bc something tickles my fancy (like Aoi's grandma who is a tree in her backyard) :3 I'd say roughly 1/3 of my decisions for this series come from a "okay, but wouldn't it be funny?" mindset (eg Hikaru being a mama's girl who will cut a bitch if you so much as look funny at her mom, Nighteye simultaneously acting like a scandalized divorcee and an out of touch dad trying to reconnect with the youth, Compress being offended at being told he's not a Westley (as in the character from The Princess Bride)) with another 1/3 being "okay but realistically speaking this is probably how this would actually happen/this institution would work" and the rest being the actual plot xD
