verdans are a fucking amazing addition to d&d playable races like

goblins with black blood that fled to the surface and have to adapt to new places without remembering their own history because their society collapsed when they witnessed the embodiment of entropy? excellent. they have random growth spurts and change sex/gender over their lifetime and have canonically shitty telepathy? superb. their ears get so big they have to pierce them together behind their head so they don’t flap in the wind????? perfect. beautiful. i love it.
