"Ah I was wondering when I'd have a chance to introduce you. Vergil this is Lobo, he's a guest staying with me for the time being." Tania oh so casually gestured the great wolf how had claimed her backyard as his domain.
"And Lobo this is Virgil, he's a dear friend of mine and one I trust with my life." She explained to the beast before giving him an affectionate headpat and setting down the deliciously baked chicken she had prepared for him.
The cooked chicken that had once soothed and satiated the demon wolf had long since been ignored in an instant his nostrils flared. Eyes narrowing, ears perking ever so slightly at the sight of a devil before him. Oh yes... THIS was what the fae had been worried about, and as much as it was attempted to promise not to go at each other with malice, Lobo certainly couldn't reduce his instincts in the moment a threat had entered the ring.
More-or-less a son of sparda. The blood of a long gone dark knight, a notable and rumored fallen half-breed that had given into the temptation of greed and insatiable thirst for power.
A lowly growl, fangs showed and bared at the blue devil as Lobo's fur spiked only briefly. A common intimidation display from an apex predator.
Ah. So this was what Nero had mentioned when he said that Tania had adopted a new pet. Except, this was definitely bigger than a pet- but the good part is that despite the intimidation display, Vergil held no qualm nor interest in the wolf demon. In fact, if he had to recall the last massive dog-like demon he had an encounter with, he had learned that giving less attention to the beast would force it into a neutral state. Confidence meant everything when it came to a pack of demons, for the most part.
"I see. Meeting you here is certainly an experience I wasn't expecting."
His attention falls from the King of Wolves to Tania. A brow arching as he made himself comfortable in one of Tania's chairs. The door obviously left open for Lobo to be able to observe, although the wolf definitely had chosen to stay put and snort heavily to show his frustration in such a new acquaintance. Choosing to guard his food more than remain in attack mode, so at least there was that.
"You make some interesting friends here while i'm away. Should I be coming back here more often?"
His tone sounds flat, but his gaze that flickers towards Tania would show that he genuinely cares about her well-being. She certainly is handling this by herself, he doesn't see the need to interfere with her bond with Lobo, but he intends on understanding it a little better in favor of her.
At least if Lobo needed a 'walk', Vergil was always available to take that matter into his own hands. Walk, as in collide blades until the King of Wolves was worn out.
