Lobo. a wolf demon--- Lucifer kept track of almost all the demons... Solitary and rather stubborn about being recruited. Naoki even tried himself-- But even Lobo rejected his offer. As the King of Chaos, it was his job to check on the demons...Even ones that weren't in his army.
"So, what's your decision-- I heard you've grown fond of a certain Samurai. and even gave him your weapon" The Demi-fiend fades into the wolf's domain through this misty, dark, chaotic aura. "...Flynn. I hear he's constantly going through a time loop. Are you going to aid him?" @doomedprotags ( i like to think naoki checks on demons that arent in his army!!!! he's genuinely curious abt lobo's thoughts about flynn. )
@doomedprotags { YOINKS NAOKI WITH LOBO!!! }
Encountering other demons, summoners, and even both was certainly not Lobo's first... and it certainly wouldn't be his last. Especially when he usually dismissed most contracts, summons, and the pull of another demon as unnecessary. Weak. Unfitting for the King of Wolves such as himself. In fact, even when the Wolf King had heeded the call of the King of Chaos, even Lobo himself would find the other... lacking.
Was that rude of him? Most likely. Lobo was not known for his kindness or compassionate hospitality. He was well known for his flames of vengeance. Violence. The unyielding wild that takes him to places where no other creature would venture to unless they were confident in their presence and skills.
Hence why, when the demi-fiend had interestingly enough sought out his domain, the massive wolf's first instinct is to pounce at the intruder. He does not smell like the samurai farm-pup, so of course it took him off guard for someone to be so bold...
...but then, before he could move, he remembered. Ah, yes... this one. He remembers this one, and from the dim of his domain he could recognize the demi-fiend by the simple smell that was very recognizable to the demon.
Shinjuku. Mixed along with a unique scent that wasn't typically common at all.
"You again..."
Before he could begin to dissect what it was he was here- Lobo's ears perked up at the sound of Flynn's name leaving Naoki. An unintentional shift in body language that changed from offensive apprehension... to suddenly comfortable. It irked him how much a name carried so much weight like that, but true to the demon King of Wolves' thoughts, Lobo answered with a huff.
"You... know of him?"
A surprised hint in an otherwise grumble in his tone, Lobo proceeds to follow Naoki. Ears perked in interest, claws well grounded on the floor while standing tall yet curious at the demi-fiend's own questions.
"Are you asking for the sake of curiosity... or, are you asking to reflect in where you have failed?"
His tone is amused, of course. Despite Lobo's size, the old Wolf humored in the thought of how Naoki thought of something like Lobo... could possibly find a bond within someone like Flynn.
"While your hands are unworthy of the flames of vengeance, the young pup had... proven himself to me. In ways that I cannot describe, but I will tell you something that I have learned from this samurai summoner, King of Chaos. While our experiences between you and I have proven to conflict our own paths in our own destinies, the irony is that our encounter had created a pathway of me in finding the boy I found worthy enough."
As if, some how, Lobo's encounter (and refusal in establishing a contract or bond) with Naoki... had changed his course to somehow encountering Flynn. Strange how life works like that, where one small pluck of a web could change the trigectory of one's destination.
"I do not give out humble words of gratitude nor praises... but, it is thanks to you... that I found where I truly belong."
-and that's by Flynn's side as a fierce demon, guardian, and most importantly... the close bond he saw so much within him.
Truly, even the King of Chaos may be able to see how much Lobo, the demon King of Wolves, had been affected by solidifying his purpose with him.
