there are multiple endings to botw but i think the one youre talking about is the post-game/after ending/ending after the game credits. like how ss had the extra ending where she asks him what he's going to do or how link goes to zelda at the end of oot (1)
there's two confirmed endings for after you defeat the final boss which are link and zelda riding on epona, with zelda holding a wounded link in place (or on her lap, i havent seen it yet), and smiling at him (2)
as well as a "bad" ending where she sadly asks him if he remembers her, which is the ending you get if you collect no memories. but i heard this is the first game where you can play it post-game so maybe there's shit you can do with her after the game's story ends (3)

YES the one I saw I was confused whether that was a memory or the present after defeating Ganon and finishing the plot.
but WOW DAHMN these endings/cutscenes though haven’t been leaked yet I assume? possibly we will see everything until someone actually finishes the game once it officially comes out. but i can see BOTW having those multiple endings, it seems something nintendo would do for this series. but ohmygod there’s actually such a thing where you can just not collect any memories AT ALL?! and not remember Zelda?!?? WTF WHAT KIND OF PERSON WOULD WANNA GO THROUGH THAT WAY!? I would cry and lose my sh*t (Link losing his memories and collecting them reminds me of some Tsubasa Chronicles shiet...to those who read manga might know of that one lol)
in the end, I can’t wait to see when someone finally releases all of the cutscenes with the audio and subtitles and the different multiple endings (’: thank you for letting me know though! i’m hella curious now.
