Seraj, my friend in Gaza, needs your help. i've been talking to him for about a year now. we're around the same age, he was a university student before the war and i hope that he will be able to complete his education and graduate when this is all over. over the past two years, he has helped many other struggling families in Gaza with mutual aid initiatives.
his family consists of 13 people, including children, and it's extremely difficult to stay on top of their needs. he often doesn't get enough regular donations, and the needs start to pile up.
now that winter is coming, his goal for this week is $4000. this is not a luxury, it is necessary to provide for his family's most basic human needs, things which are human rights and which most of us take for granted: food, firewood, clean water, healthcare, hygiene products.
please help my friend if you have anything to give. even if its just a little bit, i promise you, it really, really does make a difference. if you truly cannot give, please at least reblog this. you can also support seraj on instagram, as it's the main way he promotes his campaign and he regularly gets shadowbanned.

Hello, everyone. I’d like to bring you an update on Mona’s (@mohammedshehabtt’s) situation. The circumstances in Palestine is still incredibly dire, and Mona needs your help to keep her family safe and happy. They’ve faced multiple displacements, failed campaigns, and the constant threat of starvation and violence. Mona’s goal right now is to help her children continue their education. Her two daughters, Iman and Toleen, have been unable to go to school since the attacks started. Mona’s found a school that hasn’t been destroyed by Israel’s bombings, and she needs help to pay the enrollment fees. Schooling has been practically nonexistent under Israel’s bombardment, and finding a safe school for Mona’s children to attend is a golden opportunity.
Your donations can help Iman and Toleen get the education they deserve. Any amount contributed, no matter how small, will help Mona’s family stay fed, homed, and educated.
Mona’s campaign is #111 on GazaVetter’s list of verified fundraisers. You can donate here.
Please, give just a bit of your time and support to Hazem Mohammed Albardawil @albardawillhazem95.
Hazem lost his wife, children, and home all at once when his house was bombed. Instead of being able to grieve in peace, he's had to struggle just to survive as the genocidal war on Ghazzah continues.
Right now, Hazem needs help to afford food, water, and shelter. Food is expensive and dangerous to get, as Israeli soldiers at aid points often shoot and kill Ghazzans seeking food. To avoid this, Hazem needs money to purchase food, as well as water and shelter to protect him from the summer heat.
$2,170 / $5,000 USD
Hazem's goal is a very achievable $5,000 USD, but he still hasn't even reached half of it. Only with your support can he reach his goal and get what he needs. Please, I ask you to share and donate, help Hazem!

You want to make fandoms a safe space NOW but for some they were NEVER safe to begin with!
EDIT: THIS POST IS GETTING A LOT OR REBLOGS BUT ALMOST NO DONATIONS! PLEASE CONSIDER CONTRIBUTING EVEN A LITTLE BIT!!!
The space for fandoms has always been toxic within some of its corners. Especially if you are a person of colour, a woman (both cis and trans), or a minor. Tumblr may even be the best example of that.
There are people within these spaces that make others feel uncomfortable. Unsafe. It is up to the point where they leave the community for good.
But it should be a safe space now because a fascist dictator is in the office?? The wild thing is that there is sympathy being expressed. It is shown more for the fandom than people surviving genocide and some of these people were part of the everyday fandom spaces before the occupation, just like you and I who are free to take part in these communities with no worry!
How about you help out people who are in dire need of our support? Your fandom will be there, whereas many families in Ghazzah have their lives on the line.
Here is a family to consider: My dear friends, Iyad Sobhe @iyadsgaza and Ruba Abushaban @rubashsblog , who are long time neighbors. They were displaced due to the bombardment in Nuseirat a few days ago. Luckily, they have relocated to a relatively safer area and need to purchase necessities since they have lost their personal belongings once again.
Other than starting all over, Iyad is a kind father to 4 children. He is also diabetic and needs medication to regulate his insulin. It is also winter in Ghazzah. Ruba needs warm blankets and clothing for her neices and nephews so they can protect themselves from the cold. She is also caring for her ailing, elderly father!
At the same time, their fundraiser is at the risk of deletion by PayPal. On October 7th, the platform shut down fundraising services. Those who have one have until January 12th, 2025, to complete fundraising. Do you know what that means? We have LESS THAN 3 MONTHS to achieve the entire amount of 60K! We need to raise $600 PER DAY!
So please donate and share! Iyad and Ruba can't afford to start all over! They were fundraising with GFM, but the platform has terminated Iyad's fundraiser, making him lose 11K while Ruba loses access to 27K! You can match me! I've given $10 USD, but you are more than welcome to give any amount! Even $1 since it is PayPal!
Help Eman Abushaban reach their goal by donating or sharing with your friends.
#90 for Ruba and #173 for Iyad in the Spreadsheet. (Keep in mind that the document has not been updated and does not reflect the current fundraiser. You can learn about it here.)
You can even participate in an art raffle hosted by @transformers4palestine if you are a fan of Transformers! The first round of winners will be declared on November 13th, so check it out and join the fun!
Please continue to support these two families all the way up to their final goal! Help them make it before January 2025!!
