So this is a football app I have on my phone which keeps me informed of all my favorite teams throughout their season. On the top right, you’ll see a poll they are currently running for all app users.
It is incredibly exciting to see such a popular app, among football fans, take a step towards addressing LGBT issues present in football. I took the opportunity to take this poll and it asked if you think homophobia is a problem currently found in football leagues and where your stance is on homosexuality. It also asked if you believe that your country should make more of an effort to combat anti-gay bullying.
I suggest anyone who is able to download or visit the website of the app and take part of this poll. Like I said, it is exciting to bring LGBT awareness to a currently non fully supportive sport.

Alright - this is ALL verily-i-say's fault, courtesy of the many google asks and posts on her blog.
I figured, "what the hell, rainy afternoon, nothing better to do other than clean or write, let's dick around on google for a few". And while I knew that the algorithms could be altered, I was a bit surprised to what extent this narrative is being scrubbed up.
I need to preface this with, when I became interested in all of this foolishness in 2012, my initial searches were "Larry Stylinson", "Louis Tomlinson is gay", "Harry Styles is gay", and "are Louis and Harry dating". I'm still here, almost two years later, so I'm sure you all know what the results were.
However, given all the recent google talk, I decided to revisit some of my initial searches -
Louis -
When I first searched Louis (and Harry) in Sept 2012, gay popped right up in the auto-fill, before I could even type the letter 'g'. Today though -

That was interesting enough, BUT here's where it get's REALLY interesting.
When I first searched Larry Stylinson in 2012, the first two results were the 14 minute Larry Bible video, and the five part Larry Stylinson is Real masterpost. Those were where my fall into the rabbit hole commenced.

THAT blog was the third result on my search in 2012, and Sara (what-love-means) was the first Larry blog I followed on Tumblr. That initial search was how I found her in the first place.
Anyone searching Larry Stylinson today is not going to get anywhere near the results from just 18 months ago - and some of fandom's best posts are being lost in the void for someone who isn't familiar with tumblr.
Someone is putting a lot of effort into controlling this narrative. If they didn't have a motive, if it wasn't true, why bother?
so i just thought of something regarding management change that some of you may find interesting:
i was puzzled about the presence of Modest! on the new release for That Moment, as that seems to point towards them still being there... however Modest! would have owned the rights to Our Moment, right? Doesn't that mean that the "signature blend" would still belong to them, as well as any slight remixes they chose to make in the time being? I think that Modest! really may be gone now, but has capitalized on the last final things - a few vault videos, a remix of the perfume (which cleverly bleeds into the time when new management takes over) selling the book rights to Harper Collins (in January, but still), and possibly (though this could be new management) ordering a new set of merchandise with the "new" (but really, not new at all) shoot from Japan, which they could get royalties from if they played their cards right. Seeing as we are now right around the point where the transition agreement would be ending or would have ended (supposing, of course, that that theory is accurate), I would be surprised to see Modest!'s name on anything new from this point henceforth, aside from tour related stuff which was still technically arranged by them.
Does this make sense? I'm tagging a few people who may find it interesting or have added insight :)
