I was upset Dimas & Veronica & Carolina got moved to side characters. Carolina is literally a sunshine who deserves happiness. I’m surprised they didn’t pull the whole Diana is pregnant plot line. Or how come Eva knew the hiding spots from previous seasons & did use them 🙃 @azul3 pls join the convo
Dhekdnejdnen I’m sooooo annoyed by those hiding spots. I turned to my mom and was like, “isn’t there secret rooms on this ship or has everyone forgotten about them?” Like, I’m sorry, what?? That’s poor play on their writers. They could’ve used those rooms and such in ways to really get some answers much quicker. You’re telling me Fabio the Spy Guy wouldn’t have been more in love with Eva if she hadn’t taken him into one? Please. And the fact he chose Fabio as his undercover name...I snorted.
Pregnant plot line....I didn’t see a need for one but yeah, they definitely could’ve pulled that with her being pregnant before the “fire” because if Diana had gotten pregnant by Fernando it would’ve been too early to affect the outcome. At least in the 40s and on a ship, I don’t think it really would’ve mattered or had that much weight if Diana was like three days pregnant. Maybe it would’ve been different if she had a little bumb and then Diana fooling Fernando he would’ve been like, “hmmm...??” And Diana could’ve told him in order to convince him to stay with her rather than Carolina. But then Diana would still die in the end and which makes Fernando realize he does want more with Carolina. I think THAT would’ve been a good sideplot.
And yes, my otp, Dimas and Veronica. I’m sad at their lack of screen time. I think they had more potential then what they actually did. Dimas could’ve totally helped Eva and Fabio more than he did and that would’ve given us some great scenes between the dynamics. And Veronica. This girl has so much in her life with dealing with her mother and being a servant to a rich family and then staying on the ship and Dimas and then the Villanueva sisters returning in her life. I sort of liked the way they used her as being there for Carolina unknowingly. Like they told us, she practically grew up together with the sisters so it’s likely her heart still cares about them. It’s hard to cut ties like that and I think that’s why she distances herself in the first place. But yeah, had they used Veronica a bit more, maybe she could’ve been onto Anna or was the one to suspect Diana. I just wish there was a bit more tension from Dimas and Veronica’s sideplots to actually make us feel relieved when everyone came together and dished out the tea.
I think this season’s plot needed that tension of divide and conquer of people figuring out pieces and parts since there was such a high risk, rather than Eva and Fabio playing 20 questions with each other and then with every suspect and new uncovering.
@azula3 please contribute any thoughts if you’d like to do so :)
