“da wird ja der Hund in der Pfanne verrückt” (now that makes the dog go crazy in the pan) aka “well i’ll be a monkey’s uncle”but also, as a reply when sbdy said sth offensive or ironically “du mich auch” (you me too) aka.......”du kannst mich auch mal” (you can me too once) in which ‘can’ means fuck. beautiful innit

♡ : which languages do you speak/have you learned in school?

i learnt english, spanish and latin at school. briefly french, chinese and portuguese but dropped those before i got anything beyond the basics done. spanish ain’t my strong suit either and i can’t really speak latin either....currently learning arabic and was at some point close to fluent in vulcan hAH

alright so one of my fav german songs is ‘Der Tag’ by Die Ärzte and the first line is “Ich weiß noch wie wir uns das erste mal sah’n, du warst Kleinstadtküken, ich war Großstadthahn.” which’d b “I still remember how we saw each other for the first time, you were a smalltown chick i was a big city rooster” lovely innit
