lmaooo this is a cute question. honestly she WOULD be proud but Cody is way too good a boy to ever negotiate a bribe. he'd be more likely to work out a very complex "cash for gold" situation where he's trying to sell off his belongings for a profit or offer his services in some way, like a tiny business man! (and Perrie, a woman who has always had to beg, borrow, steal and hustle her whole life, really loves seeing that sort of drive in Cody even though he's been raised in a financially comfortable environment)

ALSO A BIT OF A FUNNY DETAIL THAT'S RELEVANT HERE: both Violetta and Perrie are only children. Perrie was raised in foster care and doesn't have relationships with any past families and Violetta's father raised her as a single dad after her mom died when she was small. so there aren't many family members for Cody to swindle either way.

what he DOES have is lots of unofficial "aunts and uncles" because Perrie and Violetta have a lot of co-workers and lots of friends (and he gets a lot out of them lmao)
