At Cable’s question, Havok tried moving his thigh but as he moved it, each pulse of the throbbing pain pounded his senses over and over again. Havok had felt pain like this before. It was all part of the job really but he had to remind himself that this pain, like everything else, wouldn’t last forever. “I can move but it hurts like hell.” Havok was a good soldier. The pain was excruciating but Havok would always down play it. Every step he took, Havok grunted, determined to block out the pain and ignore the voices in his head, screaming for him to stop. “Even with a bad leg I can still do a better job than you.” Havok tried to tease his nephew.
