Which had turned immediately sour after having been rudely interrupted by something so minuscule in comparison to how he’d reacted. He hadn’t meant to hurt anyone, or yell, or goodness forbid poof any of his friends and family. She had not. It's a habit of hers. It's mostly two meals a day, or one meal with snacks throughout the day. The mention of it reminds her she hadn't had anything for breakfast. She takes the bag, and looks inside—it's fried octopus, her favorite. "Thank you..."

She's sitting as still as a statue. One hand holds onto the railing for dear life. Red and blue veins start to become visible on her paper-pale hand. In the other hand held a yellow helium balloon; she's also holding onto the string for dear life as if it could steady her. Her heterochromia eyes are dilated, the higher she goes the wider they get.

They're on a Ferris wheel, probably the biggest one in Japan.

She knew it was a poor idea for her, but she didn't want to dampen the mood. Bad idea. There's a pause, not from her, the ride—it stopped moving. That's not supposed to happen…

It's interesting how you can know someone for years without really knowing them. She was heartbroken—a sharp pang in her chest. Disappointment ran through her, her posture was slumped with a frown on her face. She's ashamed that she ever trusted Nia.

They were playing Stardew Vally...

It was supposed to be a relaxing farming game but Amano's future spouse—Sam—had been married off to Nia. Stolen right in front of her eyes! The silence was deafening. Amano had been courting Sam too, bringing him his favorite gifts and getting all his cutscenes.

She will not be playing Roblox with Nia later!

But to be fair to poor Nia, Amano had only briefly expressed interest in Sam before booting up the game.

32 – a concerned starter

Things were bad. The music concert was in two weeks. The only reason Amano applied was because it would count toward her grades. She was nervous. She was a part of a group that played several musical instruments together. What if she messed up in front of everyone?

Amano held the bassoon up, she placed her lips on the double reed and a hand on the crutch. The sound of music could be heard. It was good but not perfect. She looked at Steyr for his opinion.

They're in her bedroom sitting on her bed. Her room is filled with several stuffed toys. It looks like the room of a younger child. No one would guess this is Amano's room because she prefers to wear all black and has more of a goth look.

She introduces him to her first stuffed toy. It's a stuffed toy of the pro-hero Sir Nighteye. It's her favorite because she has had a crush on him ever since she was younger. She points to the second one sitting on her bookshelf. It's a plush brown bear. A classic.
