& the only way I could revive The Lad without him kicking & screaming that wasn’t killing him
How does a group of young handsome evil boys get their cult some souls for the dark forces while getting some good money & even better quality victims?
They start a boyband of course!
Complete with the member archetypes that they all mold themselves into, sold out area tours & thinly veiled references to what’s ACTUALLY going on in their love songs. Sure a few fans go missing after they leave a city but who’s all that concerned? They’re all so pretty! While nobody can actually REMEMBER the name of their favourite pop group when they think about it too hard Glitterbombs is the kind of group that makes a good girl sneak out of her window AGAINST her concerned father’s warnings.
& that kind of DEVOTION is what gets the lead singer to invite her BACKSTAGE.
He’s tall, he’s dreamy & he doesn’t BELIEVE in love... He DOES believe in sacrificing a good amount fans to the shadows, though. He thinks that shit is RADICAL. Besides they’re a boyband! They can ALWAYS get more. The possibilities are quite literally ENDLESS.
Say that again, I didn't quite hear ya
Messed with the wrong bitch in the wrong era
I been at work and I got my badge of honour
Honey, I've changed so much since I last saw ya
When Casimiro Tellemanca ran away at 14, against his own better judgement, he brought his 10 year old sister, Clarissa, along with him.
Together, they arrived in New York City and fell in with a group of other homeless kids who were thrilled upon finding Cas had the ability to move things with his mind and disappear when he wanted to. They weren't however as thrilled with the soft little girl attached to his hip, who often tried to be helpful and didn't provide much help, despite her best attempts.
Around 2002, Cas was introduced to Roger Price, who immediately took to Cas and his sister, becoming a sort of guide to the other teenagers in the group and trying to keep them out of trouble.
In 2003, Roger told Cas he would be leaving for a while, and telling him what he needed to do to avoid Ultra and stay off the radar. While Cas wanted to listen, he also managed to follow Roger with Clari and the other kids from a distance, wanting to help him somehow. Cas forced Clari to stay behind while he and the others snuck into the seemingly random laboratory. Roger had a confrontation with another man, the two arguing and using their powers against each other as Roger attempted to detonate a bomb. Cas had been trying to get the other kids out of the building when he saw his little sister pick up Roger's bomb and activate it-- before she suddenly collapsed to the ground screaming moments before it exploded.
Cas managed to teleport to her and Roger got them both out of the building. But unfortunately, it appeared the other kids died in the explosion... or the resulting gunfire that seemed to happen suddenly from within the building. Roger comforted them as best he could, saying it was most likely because they weren't like them... and didn't have powers. Cas wanted to argue that Clari didn't either, and that she was useless and had caused all of this, but as soon as he said it the 13 year old was crying so hard that he could feel her sobs in his own head, projecting them telepathically. Oh.
Roger told them to run and stay safe, and stay away from Ultra, and for Cas to protect Clari... before going to get into his car... Which then exploded.
Both Cas and Clari were thrown back away from the car, Clari landing in the street and Cas around the alley.
Before Cas could get to his sister's side, he was slammed to the ground, arrested for the apparent bombings, his clothing later confirming the gunpowder from the first explosive was on his jacket-- from when he had grabbed his sister.
He was sentenced to 20 years at Ryker's in the aftermath, since they decided to charge him as an adult. He didn't fight it, he thought Clari had been killed in the explosion with Roger and blamed himself for all of it. Especially the fact she died thinking he thought she was useless.
Meanwhile, Clarissa had been safely stolen away by an Ultra Agent, treated in a private room at a hospital as Hugh Bathory, the man who had been fighting Roger, hovered over her bed. He was intrigued by the small girl having broken out upon throwing the bomb, despite her prime barrier resisting only after the moment.
All Clari could remember was Cas' anger, tell Roger she was useless, and that she ruined everything. And he left her.
Years later, Cas could remember the moment he woke up from his grief, it was seeing a news report about Ultra working on a new gene therapy to track potential evolutionary mutations. Speaking was a man named Jedikiah Price, and behind him was Hugh Bathory... And at Bathory's side, older but still recognizable, was his little sister. He didn't even make a plan, he just teleported out of his cell to go find her.
Cast of characters vs Arcane Counterparts (loosely based)
Sirius grew up in London, where the Black family coven has existed for centuries. Generally partial to dark magic, the family used their magic to gain status and wealth. The coven also had a strict chain of authority that Sirius quickly grew tired of, finding himself in disagreement more often than not. He left the coven at the age of 16, stolen grimoire in hand and traveled, his charm quickly lending itself to coin as he sold his skills as a witch. He first found his way to the Pembrooke just shy of 18, needing a place to lay low for a while.
By now, Sirius is doing quite well for himself, years of service gaining him a client base and plenty of practice. He still travels a lot, cloaking spells in place to avoid the possibility of his family tracking him down over the grimoire. He likes New York however, and comes back to the Pembrooke whenever he is in town. The hotel always provides excitement and he’ll usually stay for a month or two, especially if he finds work with the other residents or visitors.
“What is the connection between Ultra and the Templars.” “Want them to just gift wrap the answer for you?” “Shit, guys, we’re being followed--” “Stephen, run-- NO!”

“Cas? Did Stephen just--” “We’re so fucked.”
The Tellemancas had been nothing short of exceptional thieves in 2019, with all the surveillance that the 21st century offered them. They were nothing short of experienced homosuperiors.
After a brush with 21st century Templars, they are mistakenly thrown back into the Victorian era, via, of course, Stephen Jameson.
It turns out, they are actually able to thrive pretty well, with all the superstitions of Mediums, and the lack of technology.
Deciding to find out what they can, the siblings charade as Americans, seeking fortune and a higher status in the world.
When Casimiro locates a notorious gang called the Rooks, its only second nature they join in.
They are incredible assets, after all. And it was like they were made for this life.
How were they supposed to know it was all connected to their mission in 2019?
Casimiro Tellemanca - The brawler. Even with a limp, he fights and provides intel to the Rooks. He’s Clarissa’s ‘handler’ for all intents and purposes, though his rebellious sister and her preference for chaos leave him no choice but to play along and clean up the mess.
Clarissa Tellemanca - The smuggler. Able to transport and fence goods like magic, and get herself out of tough situations with the Blighters. She finds herself with a side business as a medium, able to ‘commune’ with the dead her guests are thinking about.
With everyone they loved in the future, and everything they love in 1869, the thought of choosing between the two times is pushed away until they are confronted with it.

Short bio/summary: Despite losing her mother at a very young age, Jane believes she had a happy childhood. She was close with her father and her aunt who came to help raise her. They told her stories to fuel her imagination and introduced her to the wonders of the natural world. Jane has always had a love of nature. Ever since her childhood she’s been fascinated by the mysteries of the world, pushing bounderies both at home and in school, curious to see what is real and what is possible. This curiosity took her all the way to college --an unprecidented feat in her family-- but it couldn’t stop her from getting into trouble.
During her first years of study Jane focused on her classes, ignoring people and parties and most everything else, until a fateful encounter one winter morning. Hurrying back from an early trip to the library, Jane never saw the attack coming. Before she even knew what was happening, claws were tearing into her and teeth were trying to get through her scarf to her throat. She was saved by luck alone; the rising sun and a passing stranger frightened her young attacker away, and Jane was able to escape. Of course, no one believed her when she said a monster had attacked her. And when the police could find no answers for her, Jane took the search for the truth into her own hands. Soon Jane was studying Biology and Folklore, recieving a degree sooner than anyone expected.
A degree she used to secure a place on an expadition to the ‘New World.’ As far as the university was concerned, Jane was part of a team collecting specimens and studying enviroments almost untouched by man. A convenient cover for discovering new and almost unknown creatures that were swiftly being hidden as native cultures and traditions were lost. The study was almost unprecidented, and the University had sapred almost no expense. Their tickets was second class, but the ship itself was beautiful, and guaranteed to deliver the University’s top minds safely to the United States to record new scientific discoveries.

* doesn’t come from a lot of money. West Ham isn’t home. and peeta desperately wants to get home to it because his family is the most important thing in his life.
* he’s a painter & a baker (duh). he works in the cafeteria a lot and helps with planning meals and rationing.
* when things start to get chaotic and shit goes to hell, peeta doesn’t handle it well. being stuck in the town, trying to survive makes him a bit stir crazy. the further they get into the reality of their situation and the more dangerous it becomes, the worse he becomes. dare i say he even becomes volatile at times when it looks like they truly are stuck there.

Amokinesis: As a daughter of Aphrodite, Aurora has a level of control over the emotions of love, lust, etc. which can be channeled into love blasts, capable of leveling buildings.
Emotion Reading: Children of Aphrodite are better at reading the facial expressions and emotional states of others
Charmspeak: Charmspeak is a type of hypnotism or persuasion in which it allows the speaker to convince someone else to do or get whatever they want. The strength of the command depends on the tone and the emotion of the charmspeaker’s voice, as well as their skill with it. Chlorokinesis: Whereas her mother is partial to roses, Aurora is fond of lavender. She is still some what limited in this ability, but, with some effort, she can turn corpses or objects into flowers. She is currently trying to hone her ability to sprout flowers behind her where she walks like her mother can.
HISTORY
The Countess de Martel had always been a goddess, even before Aurora knew that she was really, well, a goddess. It was hardly a wonder that she chose the Count. French nobility famous as famous for their wine as they were the rich lavender fields that produced the most famed bath products? It was shocking that no one else had snapped him up sooner. Aphrodite even went as far as to marry the Count, but the Goddess of Love was hardly built for monogamy—just ask Hephaestus. Not long after Aphrodite bore the Count a son, she considered leaving, but then she was pregnant yet again. After the birth of her daughter, she did leave. Of course, she couldn’t allow the Count to think ill of her, so instead she staged her own death. It didn’t occur to her that her lover might blame the little girl she delivered to him.
Aphrodite underestimated her lover. The Count did blame his lovely daughter for his wife’s death, taught her to blame herself for it. It was even harder once Tristan went away. Her brother had been her protector and her friend, and then he was gone and she was alone. Alone until she found out that perhaps her mother wasn’t so dead after all, that it had all been a lie, and then she was left alone to deal with that until it was Aurora’s time to join her brother at Camp.
NAME: Scott McCall
NICKNAME(S): None
ROLE: Adept
OCCUPATION: Acting Commander of the SSV Ascension
AGE: 24-27
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY: Scott approaches any mission with a level of calm and logical thinking uncommon in someone so young. While he is prone and fear and panic just like everyone else, he has seen how such things can get someone kill. How just one mistake made out of fear or impulse could get not just yourself but your team in trouble. That being said, when it comes to his team, to his friends his brothers and sisters, Scott is unwilling to leave any of them behind. Orders be damned.
He was never one to ask for power or for position, but it would seem fate had other plans. With his youth comes self-doubt and fear that he was not ready for the position he now found himself in. Even though that fear eats at him, Scott knows harder decisions have to be made, that people will live and people will die from his orders, but they must be given. He is more likely to give himself the suicidal position in a mission, believing he can handle the situation, or at the very least save another life.
ORIENTATION: Homosexual
SPECIES: Human
APPEARANCE FACECLAIM: Tyler Posey
ABILITIES: As an Adept Scott is a biotic, he is able to create and manipulate dark energy and mass effect fields for a variety of results. Being about to lift, pull, slam, push, throw, shield and tear apart both objects and living organisms in various ways. Scott had chosen to become a specialist in the more defensive forms of biotics, shielding his comrades and controlling his enemies movements on the battlefield, although he is no weakling and is in effect formidable when it comes to more offensive aspects of his abilities. He choices to protect and defend his team and disable the enemy rather than outright kill them, although that sometimes can not be avoided.
History: Joseph McCall, was a young soldier in the Alliance Military when met his future wife. They were stationed on the Asari homeworld of Thessia, recruits on a pilot program to strengthen relations between the two species by having a select few human biotics living among the Asari, learning from them. In time they would give birth to their only son Scott, a gifted biotic from birth, Scott would often wander off. Watching as the huntresses and other military soldiers of the Asari trained and studied their own powers, often copying their techniques, trying and sometimes failing to do what they could. So that maybe one day he could be like them. Strong and powerful warriors, proud of their home and their people.
The Asari official overseeing the program had taken a special interest in the boy. At first, offended by his interest and mockery of her people’s ways. She eventually saw the potential of the only human to born on their homeworld, a fact many had seen as an offense in and of itself. A specially designed biotic implant was created to maximize the full usage of boy’s powers and in time to seemed he could go toe to toe with the more younger Asari, that was until one sparring match had gotten the better of him. Scott was pushed to the edge of what his young mind and body could handle and although he had won the match, the force of his powers had shattered every bone in his opponent's body and the stress had left him in a coma for several months.
It wasn’t long before his family left Thessia, choosing instead to return to Alliance to space and Joseph to accept a new position on an Alliance starship. From there his life in the military and began. Scott trained with the human biotics recruits, always holding back, fearing what his own powers had done in the past. He rose quickly in the ranks, even getting an invite at the young age of twenty-one to the N7 program, sponsored by his own father.
The years 2186, marked the beginning of the war with the reapers, humanity and the all the other races of the milky war galaxy where in desperate need for all the help it could get against the reapers. The training in N7 was cut short as soldiers were either shipping to one of the endless front lines or posted to the guard the one weapon that could win the war for them. Scott had seen his fair share of the action and had spilled more blood than he would ever care to admit. But in the end, the milky way had won.
After the war, among the various clean operations and under the guise of “helping” The Alliance Military had done what they did best...looked out for themselves. Creating a new ship in the aftermath. The SSV Ascension was a ship unlike any that came before. Except for one. The Normandy. It had started out as a prototype stealth class frigate, one the Ascension had gotten its basic specs and design from. The stealth technology was the same as the legendary vessel, the weapons and shields were a kind of hybrid or chimera of mix tech salvaged and reversed engineered from the starships that had fallen over the earth during the great war with the Reapers. Asari, Turians, Salarians, and Quarians had unofficially and more importantly, unknowingly, contributed to its creation. Even Geth systems and programs were integrated into Ascension resulting in their accumulation and in the creation of the A.I. known as KAI.
Joseph McCall was chosen as it’s commander and Scott as his second in command. It was long before they had a mission during a skirmish on a hostile planet, Joseph McCall had lost his life, but not before transferring all access to the Ascension and its secrets along with his title and rank to his son.
(Disclaimer: Threads from this point will depend on the how my rp partners want to take it. Scott and his ship could have been a part of the Andromeda crew, or could have stayed in the milky war.)
