💜Happy #skincaresunday loves!! You babes know me & know that I am definitely a skincare enthusiast, hands down. I love trying new products and learning about them. I’ve had plenty of time to learn about what works for me and what doesn’t. I always thought that I didn’t need a heavier skincare cream, and in fact, I used to think that anything heavy would break me out. I believe that it’s not how light or heavy, but what’s in the product that counts. I’ve been using @versed Recovery Mode Night Cream for two weeks and I am seriously loving it. The purple hue of the cream, which comes from the fermented purple tea, is so beautiful. I also love the way the product is dispensed. Instead of a typical jar that you have to dig in to, this is a pump action container, making sure nothing is wasted. One pump is perfect for my whole face. I love the minimalistic look to their sleek packaging and the fact that they’re vegan, non-toxic and cruelty free (an absolute must for me). The Recovery Mode Night Cream also contains green coffee, which helps to rejuvenate the skin, and MicroAlgae, which helps supports collagen and elastin production. After washing my face with the @versed cleanser, I apply one pump to my face and slowly massage while I apply. I feel like my skin has been so much more moisturized and is softer. Oh, and did I mention the super-affordable $24.99 price tag?? 💙 Happy babes!!! When I first heard about the @versed Skincare line, I was extremely excited to try it out. I have always struggled with acne-prone skin. I don’t break out regularly, but my hormones definitely are a source of breakouts, as well as lots of products I’ve tried. Even with my 20+ years of experience in the beauty industry for companies such as Sephora and Prescriptives, I still fell victim to empty promises and pretty packaging. Versed is non-toxic, vegan and cruelty free (which is an absolute must for me when I buy a product) and they are packaged in sleek, minimalistic packages, which look super cute on a shelfie!! The Keep the Peace Acne-Calming Cream Cleanser boasts skin-loving ingredients like soothing blue tansy, salicylic acid and apple fruit extract. I’ve been using this every night and my skin has been thanking me by being clear, soft and glowing. It’s not a foamy kind of cleanser. I had to get used to that because the majority of cleansers suds up and I think we tend to equate suds with clean, but that’s just not true. If I wear makeup, I double cleanse, since this is not really a makeup remover. It’s more of a treatment cleanser and I love it!! I’ll definitely be keeping in my rotation!!
