Denver, Mick, and Traction are not physically related to each other, but they act like it. They were rounded up by the scientists - their experiments labelled as 'Unnecessary to Continue' - and were tasked with beginning a third project. They were taught basic schooling and various other skills to learn how to break into labs or other facilities in order to steal files and technology needed by Veruscire.They were given the names Junction, Main Line, and Reactor respectively.

Keen, one of the Erasers who wen through training with Rayk, actually was somewhat supportive of his decision to break away. While originally he was angry with him, he eventually saw the logic. He even went so far as to take Rater under his wing, using the mindset Rayk had very late in his life. He tried to keep him alive, because of the way he'd be picked on by other Erasers. As he was stationed in Quebec with Rayk, he also spoke enough French to get by. Veruscire found out, however, and because of his vast change in personality - which they didn't even believe to be possible - they retired him early.
