Okay, last night I finished watching Agatha Christie's Seven Dials, and I think the series is okay to watch, provided you haven't read the original novel. Honestly (spoiler alert), the antagonist in the series is a bit of a twist compared to the novel, so don't be surprised if you notice some pretty striking differences when watching the series‼️.
This is for those who have read the original novel like me and when watching this series, this question must have crossed your mind "why is the storyline a bit different from the storyline of the original novel?!". So, Chris Chibnall as the script writer of the Seven Dials series once said during the Seven Dials promotion held by the British Library that he did change some of the storyline, so it is not 100% following the original novel and of course there must have been discussions and approval from the official Agatha Christie Limited.
Overall, this series is entertaining for me and of course Martin here is so awww so arghhhh asdfghjkl😆🥵🤩🥰 (I can't describe my feelings after seeing Martin's character in this series, especially in the final scene of Eps 3🤫) and the visualization in this series, from the properties, background&set, and wardrobe is very suitable. But, there are several plot holes and different plot that are noticeable (for those who read the novel).
So my rate for Agatha Christie's Seven Dials : ⭐️⭐️⭐️½ (8/10)
(very open to discussion, and for those who haven't watched it, it is recommended to watch it immediately because there is a big possibility of spoilers)
