im so worried about my dog right now. hes a family dog and has always chewed on rocks. we're out in the county on a gravel road so its hard to stop him, but we always make sure we have toys and play with him as much as we can.
hes getting old now (maybe 13?) and i can tell hes in so much pain, his mouth is inflammed and theres tarter buildup along his gums. ive asked my parents about taking him to a vet, and they just say hes getting old its how it is, but its not! that bacteria can travel throughout his body and cause a number of problems. i just wish i could help him. i have no job, cant because of my bpd right now, and no money.
ive looked all over the internet, most solutions are centered around americans (which i get, it must be even more over there) but if any canadians know anything or can point me in the right direction for help it would be very much appreciated.
i just love my dog, so much. and i dont want to see him in pain anymore.
