+bonus
I started to watch M9 when the show was around 60 episodes. It was my first time to watched a long D&D campaign. At first I was nervous, not sure whether I would be able to catch up, but I really wanted to know more about each character’s back stories and their adventures.
So, I squeezed out as much free time as I could, including my commute time (which was an hr, so 2hr per day) , and caught up with the current arc in about two months. In my time zone, the live broadcast was my working time, so there’s no way I could watch it live, but I could watch it every Tuesday (in my timezone). And I’m so happy that I can follow M9’s story til the end.
I have to thank Critical Role for creating countless inspirational moments and fantastic characters developments. I remembered watching some arcs and felt that M9 were a bunch of chaotic idiots, I wanted to give up on them, and yet I loved them so much. Some of them reminded me of parts of myself, and while watching them overcame themselves to become better people, it encouraged me to like these parts of myself. This show helped me cope with my anxiety and insecurity, especially during the hard time of 2020 and 2021. Farewell, Mighty Nein, I’ll miss you all.
Happy Mother’s Day from the coolest moms in D&D 😘
I don't think I ever uploaded these Nott ones here. I really miss the Mighty Nein and think of them often.
