I’m feeling nostalgic about this circus man and his magic man again, so here are some highlights of Caleb and Mollymauk being soft and falling for each other--

Essek returning to the Nein-Sided Tower one day surprised to see that Kingsley has moved in and made himself quite comfortable, and King just looks him dead in the eye and says Caleb burned his beloved ship to the ground and that was basically his house--

He does use this as an excuse for wizard cuddles and trains the cats to bring him midnight snacks and run him a hot bath--

It still makes me so happy to see Kingsley care so much about Marion. The way he calls her Nan, looks to her and says, “Marion, I may have made a mistake. I don't know quite what to do...We need to stop this, and I genuinely don't know who else to ask...” Tries so hard to do right by her and the rest of Nicodranas. Even working at the Lavish Chateau—running there first when he escaped execution, knowing that Marion would take him in. Kingsley who loves the sea so much, who even goes on to become Plank King—

It’s just all so endearing to me because I always thought Mollymauk would love Marion like family, would feel right at home beside Jester in the Lavish Chateau. And it always broke my heart he wasn’t there for the pirate arc, because I knew how much he’d love it. It makes me so happy Tealeaf gets to have these moments in this new life—

Matt: "[All the stars of Exandria have] their own magics, their own builds, their own unique worlds...their own portents, their own mythologies and such...Exandria's mother star? The Dawnfather--I just called it the sun, because it was easiest for players, when I first built the world...I go by the sun because--it's the simplest and most easily recognizable for our players..."

When saying that every star could have potential for other worlds and lore, he added, "I like to keep doors open..."

Kingsley still being upset about Caleb burning his ship down, still mourning it every chance he gets. The closest thing to a home he had. So the next time he stays in the Tower, Caleb creates a room that perfectly mirrors the Captain’s quarters King lost. (He includes the very nice rope too, and enjoys spoiling his Circus Man all too much—)
