I remember sitting quietly amongst the wilderness of Katmai National Park, Alaska, and watching the moisture evaporate from its fur in the first, golden light of dawn. Pebble Mine, a massive, open-pit project in Bristol Bay, is on the verge of being approved by the EPA.
