i drew a bunch of vee and nova on a drawpile with my friend @groundramon tonight

i ended up drawing every variant of them and i figured out vee's hair in color when she's a bit older and "evolves" into leafeon lol

if you will forgive me for being self indulgent for a moment, i was so worried about dot being unfairly sidelined during the rising again finale episodes, and not only did she get a lot of time to contribute to the battle and not only was she framed on an equal playing field with everyone else (thank arceus) i am also glad that even in HZ136, where the focus is mainly on liko as well as roy/amethio because of their legendaries and direct connections with the original explorers trio, they give attention to making sure dot is illustrated standing right next to liko in multiple shots, and in particular this bit at the end where dot says her name with concern/empathy/emotion as liko is saying goodbye to pagogo... like, they really didn't have to include that tiny detail, but they did, and it is so meaningful to me that they wanted to highlight dot's emotional response to watching liko say goodbye to this beloved pokemon (that dot has also helped take care of and watched over for liko so many times up until this point)

i feel like whenever i rewatch horizons from start to finish i'm going to have to document every single time the creatives on horizons took care to make sure that liko or dot said the other's name with concern even in a scene where it could have hypothetically been left out just to emphasize their bond with each other and their special understanding for each other because this is a constant symbol of their relationship and i am selfishly very happy to see it here in Stellar Finale too. this is a treat for me (girl who always notices these two calling out to each other)
