Just a little sneak peek to part 2 of my Pitfighter Vi x Pitfighter Reader. Guys I promise I’m working on it just been really busy and wasn’t sure how to start it (more of me talking below the photo, just asking for opinions. Please read them and say your thoughts in the comments or my asks, I want to make this a good fic.)

So some ideas and general comments I have for this and I want to hear your guys feedback and thoughts.

1. Addressing some comments on my last post:

A lot of people wanted me to make Reader apologies for leaving Vi, something I want to mention is that both Vi and Reader originally had a no strings attached kind of relationship (even though we know this isn’t how they truly feel). But they will end up together in the end.

2. How I plan to end this chapter (spoilers)

I want this fic to follow the main Cannon as much as I could, I plan to end this chapter with Jinx and Vi trying to save Vander. Do we like this idea or nah? I don’t mind tweaking a few things if you guys want it.

3. Possible CaitVi x Reader (and my reasoning).

This is a bit of a long shot but do we fw the idea of this ending in a CaitVi x Reader or should I keep this as just Vi x Reader? Like I said above I want to keep this story close to the main cannon and obviously Vi ends up being with Caitlyn at the end, so the options were, Reader and Vi don’t end up together, Caitlyn and Vi don’t end up together, or all three of them are together.

4. How I plan to depict Vi in this series.

I want to depict Vi on the more vulnerable side, while yes I do want to make sure she’s still cocky and angry, but I feel like a lot of people forget that Vi’s hurting right now. So I kinda wanted it to seem like she’s scared to lose Reader because to her Reader is the last person she had left.

Once again I’d love it if any of you guys said your thoughts and opinions on these 4 things, I don’t mind if it’s in the asks or in the comments. I just want to hear your thoughts.

there's a shatter in your chest, all too painful and reminiscent of the day you ended things. a harsh break up after the end of vi's games; her team had lost, and a build-up of a horrible week led her to taking it out on you. and it's funny how meaningless words ruined something so great and real—how it broke everything into pieces as you told vi to fuck off and never speak to you again.

Arcane does an excellent job of showing us who a character is based on how they express their emotions. I’m gonna use Vi as an example.

The iconic, “you’re hot, cupcake” line isn’t just shipping fuel, but the start of a pattern I recognize with Vi. She only says ‘cupcake’ a handful of times, like 3 in season 1, I think? And it’s only to deflect or avoid something.

Specifically “you gonna help me up, cupcake?” And “do yourself a favor, cupcake, … (and forget about me”. This is Vi avoiding acknowledging vulnerability, like when she’s stabbed by Sevika or hurt by the council. In both, she’s in pain, but tries to get Caitlyn not to focus on that or worry about it.

This probably calls back to her childhood, where from age 10(?) she had to raise and protect Powder. She probably couldn’t outwardly express things like pain or sadness to Powder to keep her innocent/not weighed down by what’s going on. When she does express negative emotions, it’s in one big blow-up (her argument with Mylo) (slapping Powder). All the repressed emotions come up to the surface at once. When Vi cries in the S2 finale, it’s one big scream. When Vi breaks off from Caitlyn in S1 Ep8, it’s instantly turned from sadness into anger. Anger that causes her to fight at the factory and fight Sevika again.

TLDR: because of her childhood, Vi only expresses her negative emotions in short, violent outbursts and represses the hell out of them until that
