                  vi  looked  over  at  caitlyn  when  she  spoke  ,  the  words  sending  butterflies  ripping  through  her  stomach.  vi  had  fallen  head  over  heals  for  the  other  ,  though  it  terrified  her  since  everyone  she  had  ever  loved  never  staid  around.  at  her  words  ,  vi  moved  closer  to  caitlyn.  ‘  really?  ‘  vi  asked  voice  soft  enough  for  the  other  to  hear  ,  the  idea  that  someone  would  actively  want  to  chose  her  wasnt  something  she  was  used  to  in  the  slightest.

                         ‘   i  forget  phones  are  even  a  thing  something.  ‘  vi  admitted  with  a  shrug  of  her  shoulders.  they  had  a  lot  of  technology  advancement  in  piltover  but  it  was  rare  for  anyone  from  zaun  to  get  their  hands  on.  most  would  be  lucky  to  just  be  in  the  same  room.

             vi  knew  what  it  meant  to  ignore  the  emotions  that  were  swirling  around  inside  of  her.  vi  typically  used  alcohol  to  and  fights  to  keep  herself  from  having  to  deal  or  feel  what  was  going  on  in  her  life.  she  knew  that  better  than  anymore  espically  given  the  fact  both  her  father  and  sister  were  here.  neither  of  them  remembered  her  ,  vi  felt  it  was  pence  for  all  the   wrongs  she  did  back  home.  downing  the  last  of  her  drink  before  pushing  it  away  ,  ‘  trust  me  ,  i  know  that  better  than  most.  ‘

                    vi  could  understand  what  the  other  was  saying  ,  vander  had  died  and  been  turned  into  some  kind  of  monster.  but  here  he  was  alive  ,  looking  like  he  always  did  growing  up  although  here  he  didnt  remember  her.  that  in  itself  made  her  feel  like  that  was  something  she  would  just  have  to  deal  with.  ‘  i feel this place is both a blessing and a curse.  ‘  here  she  had  caitlyn  ,  vander  and  her  sister.  even  if  vander  and  powder  didnt  remember  her  they  were  safe  and  sound.  she  could  live  with  all  the  pain  and  guilt  if  it  meant  they  were  okay  and  alive.  ‘  sometimes  you  just  have  to  live  with  it  and  learn  to  move  forward.  ‘

                 caitlyn  had  been  a  rock  for  vi  during  the  time  they  had  known  each  other.  especially  since  vander  and  powder  had  shown  up  without  their  memories  ,  it  was  taking  everything  for  vi  to  keep  it  together.  if  she  didnt  have  caitlyn  ,  vi  didnt  know  what  she  was  going  to  do.  so  when  she  admitted  to  being  in  love  with  caitlyn  she  meant  it  ,  ‘  i  love  you  ,  and  i  dont  think  i  could  do  this  without  you.  '

                      vi  knew  vander  wasnt  trying  to  hurt  her  feelings  but  a  twist  of  knots  turned  in  her  stomach  at  the  words.  because  vi  had  known  him  her  whole  life  ,  he  had  a  father  figure  to  her  even  before  her  parents  died.  and  everytime  shes  reminded  that  neither  him  nor  powder  remembered  her  was  just  a  reminder  that  maybe  her  was  her  punishment  for  not  being  able  to  protect  her  family.  staid  quiet  for  a  moment  before  shrugging  her  shoulders  and  downing  the  last  couple  sips  of  her  glass.  ‘  thats  because  you’ve  known  me  since  i  was  a  baby.  ‘

              vi  woke  up  in  a  panic  ,  looking  around  the  room  of  her  bedroom  in  ivycove.  all  that  was  going  throw  her  head  was  caitlyn  and  finding  her  ,  vi  didnt  even  falling  a  sleep.  but  that  didnt  matter  right  now  because  if  she  was  here  that  meant  caitlyn  had  to  be  as  well.   it  didnt  take  vi  long  to  get  to  caitlyn’s  place  since  she  was  basically  running  there  ,  when  she  was  finally  in  front  of  the  vi  knocked  a  couple  times  hard  enough  to  wake  anyone  up  in  the  place  but  not  full  blown  banging.  ‘  cait?  caitlyn  are  you  home?  ‘  /  vi  &  caitlyn  ;  @allthatglxtters

                   vi  was  pissed  to  be  honest  ,  she  had  finally  gotten  her  memories  back  and  found  caitlyn  only  to  be  tossed  into  some  new  world  again.  she  was  starting  to  believe  that  someone  was  fucking  with  her  and  having  fun  at  her  expense.  vi  had  been  sitting  outside  of  their  tent  trying  to  process  what  was  going  on  when  she  heard  her  roommate  coming  outside.  ‘  did  i  wake  you  up?  ‘  /  vi  &  feyre  : @hcpefuldreaming
