It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas (in the real world, at least)!! And you know what that means: SECRET SANTA! Ho ho ho!

Please like this post if you want to take part! If you have multiple characters, you need only like it once. Secret Santa is not obligatory, merely a fun part of the holiday season. You will have a week to let us know if you wish to participate and then next Sunday (Dec 1st) we will organize who is whose Secret Santa and send out the messages letting you all know.

Secret Santa gifts can be anything, from drawings to character playlists to graphics to drabbles. Send them via submit or simply post them to the dash either the night of December 24th or the morning of the 25th.

We’ve decided to extend the break from Activity Checks one more week. Thus, the next Activity Check will be Tuesday, January 7th. Please post at least one update (for each of your characters, if you play more than one) in the week leading up to this date. If you’re unable to do so, please don’t hesitate to send us a message or request a hiatus.

Ho ho ho! Just a Christmas Eve reminder to everyone taking part in the Secret Santa to post or submit their gifts either tonight or tomorrow morning, with the tag ‘VIsecretsanta’! If you’re posting it to the dash rather than submitting it straight to your giftee, please don’t forget to @ them so that they see it!

Also, as tomorrow is Christmas, there will be no activity check this week! We wish everyone the jolliest of holidays!!! Activity checks will resume as normal next Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

Hello there everyone!

Tomorrow is the first day of December and while all of our characters are stuck in the chilly month of March, Christmas is approaching here in the real world! Which means that it’s time to start thinking about our annual VI Secret Santa!

Each person who wants to take part will be assigned the name of someone else. They then have the rest of the month up until Christmas Day to put together a gift for that player. It can be anything you want! Graphics for their characters, drawings, playlists, drabbles, whatever strikes your fancy!

On December 24th or 25th, submit your gift to your person and on Christmas Day, everyone can post them for all to enjoy, with the tag VIsecretsanta!

Please LIKE this post if you want to take part in the Secret Santa gift exchange. You have until December 5th to do so, at which point we will assign the names of everyone who wants to participate. It’s not obligatory, but it is a lot of fun!

Hello everyone!

Admins Zaz and Meeve have been brainstorming a bunch in regards to future prompts for Crimson Beginning and we’re excited to announce that we have some pretty big plans for overarching storylines that will prove interesting and engaging for all characters and writers!

Over the coming months, we will do our best to reach out to everyone about storylines we want to develop for individual characters that will play into the storyline of the RP as a whole and we’re super excited about the ideas we already have! And if you have any ideas for your character that you would like to discuss with us, we would absolutely love to hear from you and see what we can work out together. :)

In terms of more immediate plans, we’re starting to figure out the next rp-wide prompt and we have a request for each of you: this next prompt is going to be divided between very serious interactions and very silly ones, so please let us know which sort you would like for your character. A serious mini-prompt can still have room for humour and fun, of course, and a silly one could still result in interesting character development, but the mini-prompt itself would be affected by which one you prefer.

Lastly, please remember that participation in the rp-wide prompts is obligatory. Prompts keep the story moving forward and provide character and story development that is vital to an engaging RP. So please be sure to take part!

Since it’s almost Christmas and the holiday season is getting into full swing, we’ve decided to hold off Activity Checks for today, December 17th, and next Tuesday, December 24th. 

Activity Checks will resume on December 31st, so please have posted at least one update in the week leading up to that date, or contact us if you are in need of a hiatus at that point.
