re previous post it does continue to be my semi serious opinion that massimo rivola is the kind of athlete management understander that knows about harnessing sports yaoi [or as they call it chemistry in the box or whatever] to his own competitve ends. like aprilia did facilitate and farm the relationship between sava and bez (rivola was prepared to do it himself [be the primary bez crush object] but saw that the bezsava dynamic was productive and decided to let it cook). I have had this opinion of his status as understander ever since hearing him talk midway thru last season about how he thought bez just needed an "arm around the shoulder" to hold him close,, respect to them for all that to be clear. they were a bit heavy handed with it on social media but clearly it has paid off overall
