I am going to post about transgender Jax bc Iâm seeing a lot of posts about it and itâs important to me too.
Sheâs trans. No question. Multiple people have confirmed it. Goose herself has confirmed it. You cannot un-trans Jax.
Furthermore, Jaxâs struggles with her identity and self-hatred are part of what causes her to lash out (the other portions being her trauma and the fact that sheâs trapped in a digital world.)
She is a bad person. She hurts people. Sheâs selfish. This doesnât mean she deserved to die.
She deserved to be in the right headspace. She deserved to be able to work through her own discomfort. She deserved to be loved. She deserved to accept herself.
This did not happen. Because she was not in the right headspace.
She reminds me of myself in middle school, when I was in possibly one of the worst places to make my own mental issues worse.
Yes, she couldâve reached out for help. Yes, she couldâve worked through problems. Yes, yes, yes, but she didnât. Because she was hurt. And she was scared. And while itâs not okay that she forced her hurt onto others, I need people to understand that she still deserves love and second chances. She is a bad person. She is worthy of love anyway. She is still trans and always will be. Her being a bad person doesnât change the fact that she is trans. She would still be trans even if she wasnât traumatized. She would still be trans if she worked through her issues.
TDLR: Jax is trans. She is a bad person. She was in possibly the worst place for her mental health, and, as a result, her mental health worsened. She is still deserving of love. Her being a bad person doesnât change her transness.
