I can remember intricate details of 1950's movie stars careers list of Anthony Perkins films with queer subtext 1. Pretty Persuasion 2. Psycho 3. The Trial 4. etc
80's no wave musicians numerous side project collaborations, Ikue Mori
and a surprising amount of art historical gossip.
But I struggle to remember a lot of the details of my own life. If something bad happens to me, it's usually gone in a week and a half tops.
It feels like a clever built in defence mechanism. Ignorance is bliss ...apparently?
It doesn't make fixing problems easy though. Haunted by an uneasy feeling that an uncertain history repeating.
